Hello friends. ..I purchased S5 electric Blue from INDIA (Lucknow)...
And its shows processor (1.3 Ghz + 1.9 Ghz) which is quadcore.. its true ...while on site its shows 2.5 ghz....
Im very depressed. ..its original or fake..pls...pls....suggeste me....soon...

You can browse but depending if you use Bluetooth or other devices will drain the battery faster. I it is a nice phone. I like it.

Also, on fake Galaxy S series, if gestures are enabled, just go on the homescreen and move your hand over the phone. If it switches screens, it's fake. No real Galaxy S do that.

when using Samsung galaxy s5 in browsing and calls both Sms does the battery last upto a day? how is battery life like? can it last a day without using ultra power? i need an Answer quickly.. so i can pick it tomorrow.. cos i know that s5 is fast but the battery life i want to verify from the real users.. thanks

For example.
Gaming is better with larger screen size, thats goes for S5.
For longterm user go for iphone ( less duration in launching new product in my opinion off course ).
It will be wise to understand the connection between user needs and phone capabillity before u make a choice.

Sometimes it's hard to recognise the fake but I can even if it means me doing a few checks. I work with a cellular carrier/provider and a lady brought what appeared to be an S5 to me just to give it a general check as she's not savvy with smartphones. She told me it's a S5.
As soon as I held it in my hands I realised something was wrong, it was light in weight compared to my S5. As soon as it started up the quality of the display wasn't great, and you could see lighting at the sides. The black portion of the start up screen looked pale as well. That told me that her phone has a LCD display. The real S5 have SuperAmoled screens which have deep blacks and there's no lighting shown at the sides of the screen because each pixel is individually lit. That's why when you use a full black image or a dark wallpaper, less battery is generally used with the Galaxy S series. Back to the lady who handed me her phone, after it started up, it was locked by finger print. I swiped it and it opened instantly. Now, if it was the real S5, the lady would be the ONLY person who would be able to unlock it with her finger. The finger print scanner works with YOUR finger only and nobody else finger. Upon me unlocking it I scrolled through the home screens and there's no 'My Magazine'. To get the 'My Magazine' all you need to do is keep scrolling to the left when you are on the home screen. Next I went into the applications menu and I saw two things on that lady's phone which proved to me it was a fake. There was a radio icon and a heart rate icon with a red heart above the title. The real S5 doesn't have a radio nor heart rate icon, to get to the heart rate monitor in the real S5, you have to go to S Health and sign in with your Samsung account.
I decided to do another check. I went into the notepad...which is called Memo on the real S5 and I decided to do a copy/paste test. After I copied some text, when I brought up the paste option there was no Clipboard option next to the Paste option. The real S5 gives you access to the Clipboard. That is a feature I like very much and a feature I use everytime I use my S5.
Next is the gesture features. Most fake S5 doesn't show all the gesture features (eh. Smart Pause, Smart Stay, Smart Scroll, Smart Alert, Air View etc.) I'm yet to see a fake S5 list all the gesture features and for the ones it do list, when you try to activate them nothing happens.
In the photography department the real S5 max out at 16 MegaPixel. The fake ones usually maxes out at 5 MegaPixel. Lastly I decided to check the model of the fake S5 (by going to Settings-About Phone) and to my surprise it said SM-G900H BUT when I took out the battery and checked the label which rest underneath the battery, it said SM-900F. The G900H is the Octa-Core version (which I have) and the G900F is the Quad-Core version which is mainly for Europe. The label can't say one thing and then when you go to Settings, About Phone you see a different model number.
Having said that the S5 is an exceptional smartphone and I hope I have opened your awareness on how to spot the real from the fake.

VM, 21 Feb 2015hi all why in An TU TU it being shown 1.3-1.9 GHz? but in the site it is 2.5 GHz?Bcoz there are 2 models of GALAXY S5! One is Exynos (1.3 Ghz + 1.9 Ghz). 2nd one is 2.5 Ghz which is Quad Core Snapdragon model!
