A little help guys, please! I want to purchase a new phone and i want to choose between S4 (i9505 preferably) and S5. I have small palms and i'm 1.60m, so i know handling it will be a little problem. Money aren't really a big problem. The costs for each of it in my country are: S5 489 euro vs S4 356 euro. For S4 i can buy it with monthly rates from an internet provider. I wanted the Lumia 830, got a chance to check it out in a store, but i wasn't too impressed, although it's beautiful, but i want to put backround photos, to customize it. Keep in mind i want to make an investment with the new phone, i mean to have it for more than 3 years.. So, it's worth to buy the S4, which is older or the S5 which is newer? I want a good phone, with good battery (i like the battery save mode from S5), good camera and good specs. Please help. Thank you in advance :)

I would repurchase S5. The S5 definitely has one advantage over the Note 3 and Note 4, water-restance and other feature IP67/68 have to offer. Other than that the S5 has a popular DSLR feature called phase-detection autofocus (This AF method is most prevalent in digital SLR cameras) which makes get subjects pin-sharp resulting in more detailed/defined images. There's a dedicated hardware in the camera for phase-detection autofocus, it's not software based. Notice in the S5 ads Samsung boasts professional DSLR camera features. S5 is a big winner.

The reason Samsung don't release quick updates is because it's not stock android. Stock android like Nexus and Motorola faced lots of bug issue when Android L was launched. Samsung likes to wait and fix all the bug issues and then release them instead of pushing for quick updates. It will only be worse scenario because it won't perform well with Touchwiz. I agree that the Touchwiz is a little laggy but you won't see it after the Note 3 series. Have patience and you will get the right updates. Cheers!!!!

People say that... S5 5.0 update is laggy and has got a lot bugs... Just asking cause idk whether to update or not!

GSMA were claiming somewhere around end novem... morewhat he was saying is that if a 'low end mobile' like moto g is already updated to lollipop then why a flagship model like S5 is not updated.His point is not hard to understand.. and he is right..

Anonymous, 24 Jan 2015About "battery and free ram" : for battery, i really doubt it since there are man... moreEvery one uses their phones differently..after updating to lollipop there is an increase in battery life bcoz of new 'power saving mode'.. am not saying a huge difference...now more ram is always good as it is good for multitasking...more apps can be opened simultaneously..of course all this depends on one's usage

We ... moresee dude i was replaying to Original-Jamaican...don't worry about your Moto x as it will be updated pretty soon.Now about my phone , which may be 'middle-low end' but is already updated to lolliop...so am not bragging...no offense..
