I mean ,punny dual c... moreHardware never mattered. I have NO idea how people purchase a phone based on hardware only! What is this, buying a gaming desktop PC or what?
I had an S4, used it for eight months, saw the great caliber of TouchWiz, and sold it. Now I use a Moto X, a phone which is much inferior in hardware, but I can bet my (----) that its much more optimized than that S4. Yes, I do miss the camera, I do miss the display quality and size, but still the overall smoothness and stability of pure Android is just what I need for day to day usage.
A phone which isn't optimized for the running software, it's meaningless to even look at that phone regardless of its 16 core CPU or Adreno 660 GPU or 90 MP camera. Sorry.
I couldn't care less about Samsung's intention about TouchWiz, but the sooner they ditch that awful TouchWiz, the better. Matter of time people realize what "actual" Android is.

There is nothing to praise in that it's not even usefull . I want usefull stuff like waterproof , ultra power saving , nice camera boost download

S5 runs on TouchWiz, that's a fact.
And the main fact is, iOS still can't multitask properly, so all the points which went in favour of iPhone is basically meaningless.
This is exactly why TouchWiz ruins Vanilla Android, the actual Android.

And yes the being able to open an app in a fraction of a second quicker isn't a big deal, but being able to do it consistently over time and as you install more and more stuff is impressive. I bought a S3 and a 4th Gen iPad (64 GB) at the same time and I have installed more than 260 apps & games (no joke)and a few hundred songs on it and it still performs more or less like brand new. The S3 on the other hand started lagging like 6 Months after I bought it and I had to do a factory reset every 3 months since then. I understand this is due to how android manage Ram and that requires more to do the same task. I have noticed that the Galaxy Note 3 with it's 3GB Ram maintains it's "fluidity" better than the S3 and even s4 and I'm considering buying one now even after it has been a year after it has been announced because of it...

I cannot tell everyone how much I hate this "smart" phone. It is the slowest, most user unfriendly, frustrating phone I have ever used. I had a s2 for 3 years and was happy with it. The voice function is a joke...in fact I love to show people how really bad it is and the funny $hit it comes up with on a simple sentence.
When the phone rings the display doesn't come on and it takes at least 3 or 4 secs to come on...I can't tell you how many calls I miss. The WORST part about this phone is the battery will only last 9 hours so make sure you have your power cords and a generator when your away (no wifi, saver settings one, no hotspot on, dispay on "cannot see" mode) Did I mention I REALLY REALLY hate my purchase

What can you do more with your iphone anyway? You cant compare the things that you cab do on samsung s5 than an iphone 6. You just think its better because its more expensive. And i can say that i can do alot more things in my new s5 than my past iphones. And im telling you. Ive been a longtime user of iphone. Cmon. Grow up.

Camera: S5 (way better in low light)
Video: S5 (i think... :)
Voice Quality: Note 3 (really better in voice recording too)
Display: same, i don't see any difference other than note 3 is larger
Processing: S5 slighty faster
Both are fast, great over-all performance. I love my note 3 because of the s-pen. my wife loves the S5 because it's waterproof and it has remote too (tried turning off a tv on a mall display, it works!:) what we love on a celphone don't exist on any iphone, just side thoughts :)

What does your iphone got ? it opens app quicly wow crap that's incredible (sarcasm) but you gotta admit it's too bad that it's not waterproof , it's too bad that the battery drains quicly , it's too bad that it doesn't have a power saving mode like the samsungs one , it's too bad that it doesn't have boost download it's too bad that they don't have a private mode ! it's too bad that their watches are ugly as my grandma's behind + copied the heartrate sensor .
Anyhow if you prefer iphone then go for it

AnonD-310248, 21 Sep 2014Android fan-boys will be like: we Welcome iPhone 6 to 2012 I'd be like https://www.youtube.... moreThey don't need an excuse , because most of the buying public dont understand that an android phone is so customisable that you can have a zillion apps all loaded all running on start up in the background , an present an s5 with next to no available ram in the test scenario and that's only one way of deliberatly cripling an s5 to make an iphone look good, and making it look open and fair by showing the start state of the phones doesn't wash either, you can simply stop the video, recripple the s5 and start filming again. Some of these intelligence insulting videos make you want a bucket to be sick in, some of the stuff on that video lead the buying public to believe an s5 is going to run some things slower than my g note one, which doesn't halt like that s5 is show to supposedly do on some of those tasks, thank goodness I have access to the s5 or I'd have to believe piffle like this, I don't know how Samsung could ever over come the paid media and the overwhelming glut of this kind of stuff on youtube kept up in the public gaze. I personally don't have an s5, but the only information I would now trust about a Samsung product is a gsma review or going in to a shop an trying one myself.

Samsung only spends money on advertisement while no real money goes into research. As a result you have iphone, nokia and other brands 8 MP camera better than samsungs 13 mp camera. Even processor from same brand qualcom faster than samsung. To make matters worse the battery of samsung is cheap breaks down immediately after 1 year while other brands last for 2-3 years. Next time I would buy a phone it would not be samsung even if it comes with all those fancy taglines of quadcore, 16 mp camera and blah blah...good bye cheap samsung.
