Guys im using the s5 for about a week now, and I gotta say that the phone is awesome! I had no issues, lags or anything like that so far. The fingerprint sensor is working perfectly, the battery life stands for a full day of browsing the internet, games, 3g, downloading etc. The phone is fast and responsive as hell. I just simply love my gs5 more and more every day! If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask me, ill respond ASAP.

johanessen, 15 Jul 2014Xperia z3 or galaxy note 4? i hope both smartphone have snapdragon 805 or 810 and adreno 420There will be no snapdragon 810 this year. So they will come with 805.
I'm more interested in exynos 5433 though as it's ARM-V8 and 64 bit cortex a53 and a57 chips along with the mighty beast mali T760 GPU. It'll also incorporate a CAT6 LTE and H.265 or HEVC codec for flawless video endocing and decoding.

Wow...just wow, I recently upgraded from the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc LT15a, to the Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900 and all I can say is wow, the selling points on the Arc were good music player beautiful screen, and an excellent camera for it's generation, I'll also mention while I had it, it had taken many trips to the puddle/snowbank/etc and with a bumper case and mil-spec screen protector she lasted forever, still runs actually, but I digress. The S5 apparently doesn't have the best sound but in my experience while not as loud as my Sony, same quality in listening and louder than my G/f's HTC One while obviously not as good of quality in comparison, however not at all disappointed, finger scanner works well and if a neat function, as is the heart rate monitor which can be tricky to get just right, as for the other selling points for the Sony, well lets just say the S5 supersedes all expectations for screen quality and camera quality and function not to mention now having a front facing camera water/dust RESISTANCE and a wider selection of casing option due to better market reception of the phone over older Sony models...I love you Sony but thank you Samsung.

I have s3 and I want to upgrade so I will wait for note 4 too come. S5 is good phone but I don't care about design but still Samsung need to improve touchwiz its laggy on my s3.
I still have my Nokia 808 PureView with me. I use 1020 just for 2 weeks and before that i was using Note 2. Belive me battery life of 1020 is sh*tt.. If u use 1020 for camera and whatsap the battery will drain very very quick. And about low light pictures, i am a guy who love to sleep in night instead of attending parties. And camera of 1020 is not as good as 808. 1020 give some grainy result.
samosa, 14 Jul 2014Accept it this forum for healthy topics.am out of this opinionsYeah accept that your iPhone 5s is nothing compared to S5.
Beat it and go home to your iPage and spread your good news there not here.
Saurav Ghosh, 13 Jul 2014God knows what's your problem. One doesn't have to be a genius to comment here, does it? I ... moreBoom! Talk like a gentlemen. You did discover ur point. I accept that. samosa, 14 Jul 2014Escape from defeat?Am i having war with you.Don't take it by heart
so far thought samsung ... moreBoth of you grow up. Posting useless junk and polluting this forum made for helping people to make choice of buying this phone.
This forum is NOT for iOS v/s android.
Both OS are great. iOS has a great and secure ecosystem that android can't match. There is virtually no fragmentation and the OS is unified. The UI looks great, phones work flawlessly, there are a lot of exclusive stuffs and it's an OS with great apps for tablet. Even a grandma can use iOS
Android is the geek's dream with complexity and customization at it's best. You just can't match the freedom and options on android as it's an open source OS.
Regarding the iPhone 5s v/s the s5 thing. These 2 phones cannot be compared. S5 has a clear edge as it is released 6 months later. 5s is an old device and comparable to s4. s5 will compete with iphone 6.
Peace. Stop the fight by not replying.
Tcool, 14 Jul 2014That's what your iPhone needed, other devices to cover it's basic function.

so far thought samsung quality is bad even the users also follow the way take it so serious.
Any way grow up
samosa, 14 Jul 2014instead of buying one power bank for charging all devices hope you buy spare battery for each ... moreThat's what your iPhone needed, other devices to cover it's basic function.
With S5, you don't need other devices. It is an all in one gadget. There's nothing that your iPhone can do that S5 can't, but there are lots of things that S5 can do that your iPhone can't.
So why would I need a heavy power bank when I can bring a small lightweight extra battery for my all in one gadget.
Sharing files doesn't mean you do it every day but there are instant moments when you need to do that and your iPhone is at a lost, looking for a PC to do that with the master iTunes. wahaha!
Why divert to Grand2? Is that your way to escape your defeat?
Whatever..., iOS can't stand alone without its master iTunes by the side.
When the battery of your iPhone got worn out, it needs a technician to replace and pay an extra charge for the service and will tell you to come back the next day because there are lots of iPhones waiting in line for battery replacement.
While removable battery can be replace without hassle and no service charge and no waiting line.
You call that quality of your iPhone? LOL!
