All phones get heated up while used extensively, but I guess you are using the brilliant Exynos one, so it does heat more than the Snapdragon one, either get a SD one, or live with it, there is no other option.

crazyboys_tp, 29 Jul 2014Hoping for the same. But after S4, Software updates had became very slow.You better to buy a Nexus 5 if you targets for OS updates mainly.. Google gives newest updates for nexus firstly.. bt yes,also Motarola and HTC are getting much attention to software updates.. Yes.. I agree that SAM's software developing section is not so clever.. As a ex touchwiz design.. ( TCool pls don't try to reply.. This is my freedom for express my free opinions)

Awesome phone...
Bought this 2 months ago..
Works well..
Lags a little but that's samsung..
S4 was better than s5 at few points..
But this phone is wayyy better than m8 and 5s

I love the Samsung s5 of course I had a razor motorOta so it is quite the upgrade . Great battery live great camera everything. About it. Love. It. ;)

Guys I think Samsung is neglecting the S5 users. Even after paying premium price for the device we are still stuck at 4.4.2 version and just getting improvement updates rather than Version updates. Moto G had received 4.4.4 couple of weeks ago and its 1/3 the price of S5.
I got a 201Mb update recently which was just a stability update( If that's just a stability update then had we purchased a Beta version of the of Touchwiz)
As 4.4.4 is an update where security related issues are fixed, doesn't Samsung needs to be concentrating more on that first?
Samsung used to one of the fastest update releasing company for its Flagship devices and now I think S5 is just an experimental device from Samsung rather than a Flagship device.
As Note-4 is about to be released I don't think we are going to get any update sooner.
And I think this will be my last Samsung device, whether they announces worlds unbeatable phone after this I will not be going for it.

Zky, 28 Jul 2014Pls confirm does s5 Brand new comes with USB 3.0 (same as note3 data cable) or common data cab... moreI received a very nice charger and usb-3 cable with the S5. Purchased the G900W8 off eb+y...not sure if it was intended for Canada or South America.
