It's a... moreIts may be right according to your perspective, according to my perspective, it's just a minor option and it doesn't make a complete phone for me. I consider the overall perspective of the phone. We can't say that phones such as M8, Lumia, iPhones, Z2 which don't have removable battery are not competitive. No one buys a phone just because of the removable battery option.
Hereafter let's stop talking about this topic.
Best phone ever

It's a lot easier, more comfortable and most of all safer to use a spare battery than a heavy, bulky, dangerous portable charger.
And Samsung did it right.
Yes S5 don't have a great battery back up...but on the other side it really charge quick...My s5 take 1:45 to 1:50 . It has a heating issue too...while I use camera for long time & play games...If charging adapter not plug in appropriate socket then it will heat..both charging adapter and mobile...I think I made a honest review here..Thanks everyone

Please don't be too emotional. I have never insulted you.

I didn't post that comment with an intention of insult you. You have perceived it wrongly.

Replaceable battery is a plus and we all know that. No need to emphasise that again and again.
If you both want to fight, I don't care. But don't do this here.

Not only under the pillow, this could happen even in the pocket. Most boys today wear tight jeans."
As if I am using third party battery, I can afford original Samsung battery don't count me as one of those using counterfeit batteries!

I bought the portable chargers after reading plenty of user comments on Amazon and the recommendations of my classmates. It's true every phone is heating when charging.
I never mentioned that removable battery is a useless option and I don't care about which material is that phone built in. The most important issue is at the moment I can't satisfy with the Samsung phones. Don't ask me why, they are personal preferences. May be I can give a try to a Galaxy if their next flagship phone impressed me.

The portable charger which you use is more dangerous than a spare battery. It heats up more when it charges a phone.
Safety first and comfort.
It is safer and more comfortable to bring a spare battery than a heavy dangerous portable charger.

Why would I buy third party batteries?
What do you think of me, I cannot afford original Samsung batteries?
FYI I bought only original spare batteries for my S5 and Note 3 from an authorized store and never did those batteries get heat up inside my bag!

That woman burned her thigh area because of that. Luckily, there are no any news from exploding or burned HTC devices so far. May be that's because of their superior built quality. Of course, my HTC M8 is heating but when it's starting to get cold, it's getting cold much faster than plastic phones. Anyway, I am not going to discuss about exploded phones anymore.
BTW, Android OEMs should come up with better cooling tech now. I think Z2 already has a cooling tech, still my colleagues complaining it's overheating. Actually, Z2 overheating much more than my M8. If they unable to do it, we will face a huge trouble in future.

Price wise M8 is more expensive.
It's up to you if you can afford.
Where is the calender?? I'm probably just missing it but...
I "upgraded" to an S5 from an S3. I was tired of the short battery life of the 3. I have had the 5 for about a week and I would take my dead battery back in a heartbeat. The camera on the 5 sucks! There is a constant lag. My phone is soooo slow. Plus, it is constantly kicking me out of applications. I'm taking it back on Monday. Totally disappointed.
