I think because the Galaxy S line is so popular. Then you find others wanting to trash it so their platform might get viewed at or another phone might get a chance. Look at the voting results. How can the performance of the S5 be a 5.5 on gsmarena? Even the features, no other phone currently on the market has as many features as the S5. Yet its rated at only a 5.3. This alone should tell people that gsmarena voting system does not work.

Weak network signal will cause the phone to heat up more.

I liv... mores5 heat up issue is coomon with ALL mobiles.. nothing to do with outside temps ..batteries heat up when batteries are under strain ..poor quality batteries -most made in china - batteries exploding also .. but WORLDS MOST BATTERIES ARE MADE IN CHINA - poor quality !! buy s5 -very good phone ..if battery swells -get changed under warranty by samsung ..

chris, 10 Jun 2014How about gaming in this phone?Excellent!!Full HD High Graphics on all games!The 5.1 inch screen in just big enough to enjoy ever game.I have tested Subway Surfers,Temple run(All 4 parts),Asphalt 8,GTA 3,Vice city,Sanandreas,NOVA 3,Batman:TDKR,Gangstar Vegas,Rio,Assassins Creed Pirates,Fifa 14,Real Racing 3,Real Football,Wild Blood,Sims Freeplay Etc.They all are too good.I have the 64GB model and a external 32gb card.So if you are going to buy the device, I will recommend you to buy a 16/32gb model and buy a external 16/32/64 GB ext card cause S5 supports games on SD CARD too.I hope It helped you.

I am planning to buy S5 but afraid due to comments related to S5 about getting Hot. I live in a city were normal temprature remains 35 to 45.Should I buy it.If not,can someone suggest me honestly based on his experiance ??

best phone in the world, it got everything u need, super sharp display, excellent camera and video quality, water and dustproof case, super fast for gaming etc etc... lg g3 is nowhere near this monster haha ;) lg suxxxx hope the go bankrupt and soon note 4 will come and beat everything like note 3 did.

All phones have their shortfalls but let's not discredit even what we do not know.
S5 is comparatively a nice phone with good camera resolution and downloadable apps.
