Samsung Galaxy S5 - user opinions and reviews

The HTC One (M8) is undeniably the better-looking
phone (which might be void if you use a case) and the
feel of real metal tops the feel of fake leather any
day. The front-facing stereo speakers are also great,
but the move to on-screen buttons didn't do much to
reduce the height, though it does eat into usable
screen space.
The Galaxy S5 is more practical though with the IP67
rating and user-accessible battery. It's more compact
and lighter too. The faux leather is also much better
than the glossy plastic of last year, even if it won't
win over metal fans.

I connect it to:
-Huawei 4G mobile WiFi when outside,
-my home DSL WiFi when at home
-and our office free WiFi when at work.

Tcool, 07 May 2014What? You call 8.1 mm thin phone bulky? M8 and Z2 are more bulky than S5.Well S4 is only 7.9 mm they add a little bulked to S5 due to the water resistant protection. You don't even see the difference. Unless you always carry a ruler with you. its not the end of the world people. ;-)

Am so OCD when it comes to my screen, the tempered glass screen protector is a Genius. I love it, I just think i scratch my s-view window because of i keep cleaning my finger prints.

Call quality is really crisp from handset.

For images capturing from video you can like before after enabling the options in the video player.

That has been typical of S series so far great DAC but power amplifier part is cheap and shoddy giving nice audio but shoddy power output via 3.5mm jack..
