I have no offense against Sony phones.... moreBro, not innovative by HTC LG g2 have it already Iïm using g2 right now..you can play music, answer call, see time and automatic off and on every time you open and close the flip cover...even the knock on feature of g2 they copy also by topping twice the screen to on and off the phone...

I have no offense against Sony phones.... moreZ2 isn't behind them,in contrast it's ahead of them,,your logic is so simple,,what you claimed are just a few small features,they have no value against better and bigger display,better ram,better camera,better camcorder,better battery,,you're an HTC fun,so be it,but don't lie,since you cannot change the truth,don't blind yourself over it.HTC m8 is good but certainly behind s5 and certainly z2 is ahead of s5.

Samsung is crap. After 6 months, their fones start to lag. At least dat is what happened to my SGS4.
Been using Z1 from the last 3 months. OMG! What a fone. Completely in lov wid it. Btw, HTC fones are also quite gud. Both Sony & HTC are now at present I'd say fighting neck & neck for the top position among smartphones.

I have no offense against Sony phones. Of course, M8 is not coming with water resistance. But I saw a reviewer doing a water resistance test about HTC M8 on YouTube. Surprisingly, it was survived even 2hrs in the water.
Most interesting thing in M8 is its flip cover. You don't have to open the cover and switch on the display to see time, weather even a notification. You can view them just tapping on the flip cover. Similarly, you can even answer to a incoming call without opening the flip cover. It's just their innovative dot view case. Can Xperia Z2 do them?
The camera of the HTC M8 and Galaxy S5 is really innovative when compared to Xperia Z2. Unfortunately, HTC M8 doesn't has the 4K video recording. I don't like to compare the HTC M8 vs Galaxy S5. Because they are good in their own way and they both have their own distinctive features. So, that decision is up to buyers.
One thing I can say. That is, Xperia Z2 is way behind than HTC M8 and Galaxy S5.
So far this year my favourite phone is HTC M8.

I saw a 1080P video comparison in YouTube between HTC one M8 ans Galaxy S5, unfortunately S5 1080P doen't looks good at all dull with pinkish hue like crappy S2 camera!.
