I`m an iPhone user for about 3.5 years, and am starting to look forward for possibility to upgrade for newer model. By this time my 4s will be already almost 3 years old, which isn't a lot but i don`t believe that it will be able to run ios8 smoothly and the battery will most likely be done by this time. So I am starting to look around for possible replacements, and i must say that i am more then impressed by these specs and opportunities that Samsung do offer with this phone. And i am not talking about some 5 inch screen size, i am talking about the whole thing as it is, the only lack here i see is a design. Yes apple can do some stunning design but, that's it! What i do see for last few apple releases, there is nothing much except design and software upgrade, the rest is some minor hardware changes, which doesn't offer a lot. And i don`t believe that this september will be much different, maybe some design refresh, bigger screen and finally 2Gb ram and that's it. So my point is that Samsung board, should finally dismiss existing designer and finally come up with some solid thinning one! And i do believe if apple won`t come up with stuff that would offer at least 85% off this, they will have to face some hard times.

The galaxy s5 is a killer. its much faster than the iPhone 4s and 5s, lets see what the 6 will put on the table for us. but for now just go for the s5

Apple phones: 4s and 5s are best phones
Pros: Best built in Quality and gives some status. IOS (Unique)
Cons: Too Costly, Almost you have to buy every App.
Nokia: All lumia series
Pros: Known for best camera and windows phones.
Cons: Less Apps, slightly difficult to use & thicker phones.
Samsung: S3, Note 2 & Note 3 are best. (S4 is also good but not that great it is having some lags).
Pros: Number of models in all Price range. Lot of features like smart stay, sensors & etc.,
Cons: All looks like same no matter how much money you invest.
Sony: SP and Z series
Pros: Good Built in Quality, slightly cheaper than others, having good camera.
Cons: If you got repairs, simple you have to go for new one means individual parts are too costly.
HTC: One and desire series
Pros: Good built in Quality, great touch sense UI, good speakers and having beat audio.
Cons: very sensitive, battery backup is not good.
LG: Only G series and Nexus series are the best in LG.
Motorola: Moto G and Moto X are the best mobiles.
And other companies I never used them so I am unable to tell.
Note : This is only just my view……….

Freedom is not confining and relying news and songs to the phone radio only.
Freedom is having different options to choose from for listening to radio.
Freedom is not limiting oneself to the local radio stations only which the built in radio can broadcast.
Freedom is not locked to the local radio stations only and not locked to the wired headset.

Nuff said.
My Note 2 can last longer with up to 7 hours of screen usage, with downloading over 1GB of torrents, over an 18 hours of usage.

and xperia SP,xperia C , ZR have an excellent battery life....and dont forget Z2 is having ips lcd cosumes less energy than tft lcd.....Z2 have a 3200 mah battery.. . .so just wait for the review..

I have 8gb of music on my s2 and still want to discover new music via free radio not paid for streaming. you have summed up the mentality of Apple - products for people who dont want to think and are happy locked up in a padded cell oblivious to the freedom of the outside world. just like religeon. yes just load your favourite songs and play them over and over again ; )

So we are allowed to say what we prefer. Personally data usage is expensive in my country I'd also prefer a in built radio over streaming or extra devices. I'll keep my S2 until Samsung realises that.

S5's cam... moreMy friend, it is a matter of choice. One likes Ferrari, the other one likes Lamborghini. Let me point out several aspects:
1. I am not planning to go swimming with my phone, would that be Z2 or S5 or whichever - although it is good to have some sort of protection.
2. I don't care about the heart sensor - still i DO NOT mind it.
3. Megapixels means QUANTITY of pixels - not QUALITY.
4. MHL3 serves for rich people to show off in front of their broke a*s friends with their 4K "SONY TV" :D (i do not own one, nor planning to - however, if you do, i salute you! ;) )
5. My previous S4 had an amazing noise cancelling, so i expect the same from the S5, if not better.
6. Once again, my friend, it is a matter of choice.

There are no perfect phone. Yes, i was a little disapoointed when i saw the official presentation and specs,bcoz there was a ton of roumors, but i still think Samsung will make somthing big this year. Either they will bring a Galaxy S5 with Exynos 64bit processor, or they will make a beast in Note 4.
For all people who dont have money to buy a high-end smartphone, go for Motorola Moto G.

Having said that, I wo... moreA smart and justifiable answer.I too have had the 3 iPhones,two HTC one and now have the Galaxy s4 which I love.Apple makes a great phone but it was dated ,moved to HTC one and they both froze up.Now waiting for the S5.
