Did you ask the 90% what they are listening to? LOL!
Yes I agree radio gives informations and news around the world but it doesn't mean it has to be built in on the phone.
There are lots of option to listen to radio. Don't confine yourself to mobile phone. By depending on phone for radio, you are just making your world small.
Built in radio gives only local broadcast and local news.
Most of the times the reception is poor, only few stations give good signal.

Maybe there are some other reasons you can bring that wired headsets are not good.but if you go outside you see still most people,maybe more than 90% prefer and use that wired headphones , wether it's listening to music , or radio or....
The people who love radio,they would use wireless headset.Tell them don't use radio,because you should use wired headsets,and see wether they listen to you or not.
,And last for a mobile phone that it's goal is to connect you to the outer world , build in radio is a must have feature.it's an extra option just for those who do not use it year to year.but as I see,at least in place I live, people use it a lot.Its funny that a mobile phone does not have radio that all cheap MP3 players do have.

Most buyers and users don't mind if there is a radio or not.
Look at the expensive iPhones, no radio yet so many people are dying to buy it. Therefore I conclude that radio is not a must for a flagship phone.
It is just an OPTION!
You can afford 600 euros for a phone but you cannot afford an optional accessory?

Built-in radio needs the wired headset to work.
If you buy another brand with built-in radio like Sony, LG, Nokia, HTC, the radio will still need the messy wired headset to work. It is more comfortable to listen to radio if you will be free from wires, it's your choice.

It takes several weeks with silly bluetooth headset solution to remedy the lack of fm radio on this phone. Or that people should buy a basic phone with fm radio, that rudeness. Change the story and better recommend another brand that delivers the complete functions to customers (with FM radio) as does Sony, LG, Nokia, HTC, etc..
