its awful, they have ruined the s4 look, stole the 5s fingerprint scanner and stole sony's water resistance, what a flop this was, the 5s is better and when the 6 gets released, which is the competition it will blow it out the water without a doubt

AnonD-113429, 25 Feb 2014The competition to S5 is not iphone, rather from Sony and other companies.why even compare it to company that fail and are trying to regain market share. clearly they are doing something wrong... take a look at blackberry... if they stick with what work for them and not try to follow everyone else may be they would have still be in the game

I have the s4 active. I think it looks wayyy nicer and is beast enough already.
Usb 3.0 is only necessary for a select amount of people at this point in time. Fingerprint scanner... whatever. Price will be astronomical most likely. The 2gb ram is a shock, theyll probably release another version with 3gb ram a few months down the line. My s4 active is waterproof, ip67 as well. The camera is a major improvement but for taking random shots here and there, my camera does a great job.. plus im supposed to get 4.4.2 soon so itll look the same and should have all these software features... s4 active over the s5 IMO

Honestly I can't wait for the S5 its so annoying that I have to wait for it. I've been stuck with a phone that sucks so much that I seriously could kill myself with. I say good job Samsung (y)

when Apple release new phone without adding new features and design...people say its great..what a nice phone...now Samsung come with all the new features and people are expecting all other things that is non logical...people think twice before you all commend plz...if that is so easy..why don't you all do it for the world

I still use a galaxy SL I9003 as my secondary phone and use a Galaxy SIII as my primary phone. The front of the S5 looks like an enlarged version of the galaxy SL. The back perforations resemble the back of my Google Nexus 7. No way I will buy a Samsung mobile again. When Galaxy S, S2 and S3 were launched there were not really any competition to Samsung at that point of time. Sony, HTC, LG were all lying low and not much of chinese phones. But now largely due to the proliferation of chinese mobiles and outstanding designs by Sony and other companies, Samsung will face an uphill task to sell the S5. Already S4 is not selling as they expected. They really need to focus on external design as any person who buys a flagship phone will always expect it to stand out from the crowd. The design language must be different across every range of models for any company as that would be the differentiating factor for the money what we pay. Right now every Samsung phone looks alike and there is no wow factor at all.

for those who think that samsung has fail with the S5 would u take a good look at the real compitition.."the iphone"... take a look at the design.... yeah nothing much has change still people thing iphone is one of the best phone design... i agree too it is one of the best, because what they did.... instead of throwing away their design they tweek it to perfection. samsung seam to be on the same road... i say two thumb up to samsung
