I have always loved Samsung but ever since I got my S5 last year, it has been nothing but problems!!!! It keeps shutting off & pulsing. I've been to a repair shop twice in which they claimed they sent it to Samsung & the 1st time the problem was some board inside the phone, the 2nd time I brought it in to be fixed as of course the problem was still happening, they said due to the scratches around my phone (which is always in its case), that is what's causing the phone to do that.......ummm what??
Of course I didn't listen to that crap & my phone seemed to be ok for a bit...until now...just shuts off completely & keeps pulsing. It won't let me reboot or anything.
I am sooo NOT impressed with my Samsung phone & I don't think my next one will be a Samsung. This is very disappointing.

I can say this have better CAMERA QUALITY than S7 and doesn't over heat and safer since I can just replace the battery.

AnonD-365805, 18 Oct 2016Welcome friend I used s2 s3 s4 s5 s6 back to s5 and s7 back to s5 Due to reason you mentioned I am from India. I had bought the iphone 5s 16gb last june for 40,000 rupees! And after a month I sold it to my friend for 24,000 rupees. And added an extra 5,000 and bought the samsung galaxy s5 for 29,000 rupees. This is the best android phone ever made. And iphone is just only a showoff only.

I've a problem, my gallary, videos and pictures' permission is not being granted, it shows the message 'Unfortunately, DCMPROVIDER has stopped' after this gallary and vlc don't open.I've reset my phone thrice and also done hard reset too but still facing the same problem, what should I do now?

I'm facing a problem, I have formatted (factory reset) my Galaxy S5, after it's reset it shows a message again and again when ever i open gallary or any kind of photo software.
It shows following message.
