2Gig RAM - not that bad since this phone runs on Kitkat which is not memoy hungry
Design - just pure disappointment. Atleast aluminum frame would do it for me.
IP67 - good job. Even though we are not planning to do facebook underwater its still one thing we dont have to worry about.
2800 mAh - again, low memory means low battery consumption. But still if we could last a day without worrying on our phone passing out during an important phone call would be appreciated.
Display - not bad, not excellent. 2k display would only mean battery hungry phone which leads to a heavier phone and so on. If you wanna watch movies in UHd. Get a TV!
Price - considering this is a flagship - expect heftier price which is unacceptable
Verdict: coming from an S4, no to upgrade. If you have an older phone. Go for it.

Handy experience, 25 Feb 2014Waterproof features make the phone look very ugly and ancient. No one needs a waterproof phoneI don't agree with this.
Even if i never dropped my gs3 into water i'll be wery happy to have a waterproof device.
Don't know about you guyz but even though sony has better design i think onscreen buttons are waste
PS: nobody needs fingerprint sensor or s health and everybody agrees with that!

Very cheep design. Ram should have been at least 3GB if not 4GB. S4 is even better than this. Samsung has disappointed this time. Body should be the metal and not plastic. Design is rubbish.

art, 25 Feb 2014need not to upgrade my S4 this time. Design in not what I expected. I am always a Samsung fana... morelets wait what APPLE has to offer us this year. I am not rushing to upgrade my S4. I do not have any problem so far. KitKat is doing so far so good...

This is a joke, why called SG S5, it deserves the called Samsung Galaxy S4S, anyway for much less time will the iPhone 6 comes out, the display 100% better of anyone smartphone, reason than this year for first time will contain "Retina & IGZO" display of cooperation Apple & SHARP

2GB RAM? 16GB Internal Memory as the basic model? Seriously? RAM should have been AT LEAST 3 GB, but 4 GB is what i expected, and the starter version should have been 32GB. 16GB should be abandoned by now, its too low nowadays with ART and the growing application sizes.
And why don't they add the radio chip, its a very small chip, yes not used much, but at some situations, its critical.
Very disappointed from Samsung this time around. Very disappointed...

I think samsung is not making a great phone nowadays. The design and feature is far behind all. I used to be samsung fan boy but now i prefer the other brand with more premium looks and not just copying others feature
