Guys I am willing to buy s5 duos. But i need help. Let me know few things. I want to use sim1 for calls and msgs active all the time and sim2 for data network only active all the time. Is it possible? I was searching a detail review of s5 duos on youtube but i couldn't find a single video in english. Can you guys please update me.if my 2g 3g network is connected all the time via sim2 then can i receive calls and msgs over sim1 ? Waiting fir answer.

It's just an arbitrary and unnecessary restriction from Samsung.
S5 Duos support LTE band 8 for Telkomsel Indonesia so everyone who claimed otherwise are incorrect.
And the people who say you don't need FM-radio because you have 4G has to be d**b. Most people in the world don't have 100% (inter)national coverage nor unlimited data quotas.
And to the guy below that don't know things: No you don't necissarily need wired headphones for antenna, the Lenovo S920 has a builtin FM-antenna that works without headset.

loved the phone touchwiz finally became better, great features and hardware ... only bad thing about this phone is the design it's really ugly apart from the screen , it cost me $630 :P for that price it should look a little better.

As far as I know Indonesia supported only the LTE band below which is not listed above
Indonesia 900 1800 3G 2100 TELKOMSEL; 3G 2100 Hutchison; 3G 2100 AXIS; 4G LTE PT Internux / Bolt 2300Mhz;

We might buy factory unlocked 4G/LTE smartphone from specific country, and it will continue to work with any different carrier. But we have to keep in mind that international devices are made based on regions. So a device that was bought from KSA will continue to work in dubai with 4G/LTE coverage because its mafe to work with middle east market. It will continue to work in eastern asia (for exampleexample) but with 3G coverage coverage only. Reason is as i said earlier, devices are manufactured to work in specific regions.
While buying a device from another company, make sure you check what bands does it work with, and compare it with the bands used in your country.

I have been using S5 duos from past six three months . Its realy good . Both the sims work fine .
But now some sound comes from the phone as if some part has got broked inside .. Idk wat has happened ???

Internet radio is the best!

I bought SM-G900FD from K.S.A.
I am also have 4G USIM card by Telkomsel(Indonesia), but when I in Jakarta (in 4G coverage area), I cannot see the 4G LTE option in Network mode.
Only 3 options
WCDMA/GSM (auto connect)
WCDMA only
GSM only
but No LTE option
Can anyone help on this

SIM1: Home SIM (GSM...)
SIM2: Visiting country SIM (... moreI think you are the one making the mess.
Learn to set the dual SIM functionality first.
My S5 Duos doesn't have any problem at all.
I can make calls and receive SMS on SIM 2 even SIM 1 is connected to internet.
