Hi guys, the Samsung S5 Duos SMG900FD in middle east (Oman & UAE), it's dual standby not a dual active , I bought one and I tested it, the concept here is the phone diverts the calls from Sim1 to Sim2 and vice versa , if you want to check that , go to settings and check for the divert calls for both sims , you will see that.
So if your operator charges the calls on divert , when you are on Sim1 talking and received a call on Sim2 and answered it , the Sim2 will be charged, please check the credit on both sims.
In Oman, Omantel & Nawras they charge your Sim for diverting a call.
In UAE Etisalat & du they charge the divert call to other operator but not on same operator Sims.
So SMG900FD is a dual standby not dual active.

I can receive calls in one SIM even the other SIM is in use for 4G internet.

On sometime when making phone call, out if sudden both sim sig... moreYes it use to happen to my phone....network would disappear for few sec and then come back....some time I would get error to restart my phone saying some SIM error...weird....now I am using HTC m8 dual....very happy with that....

As far i known smg900fd is dual simm with lte. Lte work on both sim 1 o sim 2. But at any 1 time, 1 can can configure to lte mode

the Kernel version date of my unit after the update was Oct 2, 2014, but i don't know if it will fixed your phone's problem, I just saw that your Kernel version is old ;-)

I subscribed to internet using my regular sim, my data is on all the time for internet while I can use at the same time for call/text as a regular sim, my other sim slot is my roaming-smart Philippines.

Tcool, 22 Oct 2014The charging port itself is the OTG slot.Wrong. In the bottom of the phone, under the charging cover, they are 2 port's: 1 charging and the 2nd OTG.
