It is good but battery consumption very high, and also I have problem, the mobile signals ... moreYou are in a place where your SIM network provider got poor coverage. It is not the phone, it is your network provider that have a weak signal.
Weak signal also causes the battery to drain fast.
When in poor signal area, set the network setting to GSM only to conserve battery.

Anonymous, 16 Sep 2014I just bought the s5 g9008w, and in that phone you only get lte/3g options in the SIM card 1 menu.My S5 G900FD shows 4 options:
1. LTE/WCDMA/GSM (auto connect)
2. WCDMA/GSM (auto connect)
3. WCDMA only
4. GSM only
and they are available on both SIMs.

I can say that S5 Duos is better than the single SIM S5.
Also network coverage signal in S5 Duos is stronger than S5 single SIM.
Now I am about to sell my single SIM S5.

Hi to All,
Upgraded from note 3, before buying this i was bit hesitant to spend such amount on a dual sim variant of Sammy flagship. I requested lot of times at this forum for a detailed review of this fone but no one replied to me. Then i summed up strenght and bought this. One word, BEAST!!!!!! Imma give my detailed review
Display
Is very crispy and detailed. Ive used s1,2,3,4,5 note 2,3. Xperia z n z1, and iphone till iphone 5. But this one stands out. Pleasure to watch hD videos.
Call Quality
Is not the best but very good.
Battery
I am very heavy user. I unplug it in morning when leavin from home. All day i stay out with contiouns facebook and whatsapp etc, i use google maps alot aswell. With music in the gym for aN hour or so. 7.40 Am its 100% whole day of extreme hardcore use, i came home at 10:28PM and battery is still at 10%, with moderate use it lasts 2 days easily.
sound
Not so good in speaker but in headphones it awesome. I am using Skull Candy headset with it and its a joy. IPhone 5 headset also very good with it but to answer call we have to unplug the headset as mic isnt compatible with it.
Camera
Better than my note 3, details of images are sharp and in dim light picture quality is fab.
Dual sim
Its dual sim active. Money well spent now i can use both my work and personal sim in one high end device. If sim 1 has a call sim 2 remains active and u get option to put sim 1 call on hold and take sim 2 call and vise versa.
I didnt chek water resrtance function yet as i live in middle east and its dry here all the time so its not much useful here. And i wont take under water pictures lol as i dn knw how to swim
Final words
JUST BUY IT!! You wont regret. Cheers

You have the option to sync or not to sync.

The sim manager is still standard as in dual sim.. maybe samsung would like to consider your perzonalization suggestion in sim manager.. you cant privatize sim2..

Please can anyone advice me if details like phone contacts on sim 1 can be kept for use on sim 1 only and not sync phone contacts from sim 1 to sim 2 as I want to keep sim 2 as a private use personal number.
Please also clarify if apps like Viber, Tango, and whats app will sync phone contacts from both sims as I need to keep sim 2 private

It is really amazingly fast and I also use it as a 4G WiFi hot spot with my other phones and tablets connected to it.
Only minor heating when transmitting 4G WiFi internet but acceptable.
The thing is, I don't need to bring a mobile WiFi router.
I am very much satisfied with the performance of its dual SIM, dual active.
I can receive SMS and calls with one SIM while the other is a data SIM connected to 4G internet. Perfect!
