I bought this phone right after it went on sale in july 2014. I really thought it will be one of first phones that will get android 5 update ASAP, silly me. Since then I was reading articles about planned update "soon". First in december 2014 then april 2015 etc. ... Well it's december 2015 and still nothing. I really should have waited for Z3 compact at the time.
It's a shame because I really do enjoy frequent OS restarts, weak GPS signal and sluggish UI
As for me, no more samsung, maybe a fridge, if it freezes the way like their phones, ...

Phone specs are very good, but performance is poor. I am using S5 mini more that a year and it already has been at service 4 times - on 4th attempt to fix it service did not took it just said that I should go to store and ask money back :)
Main bugs are:
android stops to work
restarts 10 - 20 times in row
can not make call because it says no coverage, meantime coverage is full
can not use internet as it says no wifi or no coverage, meantime there is 4g coverage and wifi connected.
and also true about navigation - its not precise
Same problems had 2 of my colleagues.
I also changed sim but no results, so my opinion is to avoid Samsung mini models.

My S5 mini (G800F) has big GPS issues. The position isn't accurate and it loses it very frequently when I'm driving. Plus there is a strange beep sound tha occurs randomly during calls

After 6 years using the same phone (since 2009) i start using this one. and i'm good with it. didn't travel much, so, i don't know how to resist on travel situations with the battery he got. But you can make everything like you do on your computer. The front camera( selfie camera) shoul be a bigger one in megapixels..
