AnonD-292351, 08 Aug 2014Sorry bad news S5 mini will never be available in the Philippines... I tallk to Samsung Center... moreKimstore might get it. Who knows ? :D
I own Samsung S3 Mini, but the new S5 Mini has very basic specs the best is the Screen. No radio,I agree not everyone is on expensive plan with Wifi. Here in Manila plenty Chinese made phone available like Xiaomi and others with much better specs. No market anymore here, maybe the new Alpha for somebody who don't like big phones, but the front shape looks just like an old recycled design.I still like Samsung but the look muss improve.
Graz, 08 Aug 2014Not everyone has unlimited Internet. How about those on low data contracts when radio streami... moreIn case you haven't realised, there are apps that exist that allow you to download a radio station and it's songs and play them without using data. Furthermore, the stations can update whenever so you're not left without old songs. And if you're going to complain about using data. I had a 1gb data limit and used internet radio all the time, and still had data left over. Finally, why would Samsung put a FM radio receiver in the phone when there isn't a demand for it and it would do nothing more than increase the cost for manufacturing the phone and buying it?
Mr Grumpy, 08 Aug 2014Don't be daft. An FM Radio makes complete sense. For streaming radio rubbish you need a data p... moreKorean doesn't usually use fm, they got the worst DJs.

Anonymous, 08 Aug 2014Which century do you live in?! Radios on phones nowadays is obsolete. There are Internet radio... morethis product is not made exclusively for the USA, the internet in other countries are sketchy and very expensive, so radio that doesn't use the internet might appeal to them
Anonymous, 08 Aug 2014Which century do you live in?! Radios on phones nowadays is obsolete. There are Internet radio... moreThe most important thing is data usage.
The phone doesnt have ultimate power shaving mode like the larger S5 but is still great on battery life due to the power saving function.
Anonymous, 08 Aug 2014Which century do you live in?! Radios on phones nowadays is obsolete. There are Internet radio... moreDon't be daft. An FM Radio makes complete sense. For streaming radio rubbish you need a data plan and good reception and software and you are limited by all three. An FM Radio uses far less power, is free, can be used when roaming and doesn't need anything other than a headset. Wake up and smell the coffee dude, companies like Samsung remove FM Radio modules because they want to sell users their own rubbish streaming software crap. There is absolutely every point in not buying a phone beause it has no FM radio and that's also why the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S5 have not been selling anywhere near as well as expected in emerging markets when FM radio is important. They haven't even been selling as well in Western markets let alone anywhere else which is why they keep churning out the useless phones with gimmicks like heart rate monitors and fingerprint sensors.
Anonymous, 08 Aug 2014Which century do you live in?! Radios on phones nowadays is obsolete. There are Internet radio... moreRadio FM is important, because there are countries where the internet 3G connection is very poor. I'm from Argentina, and here the 3G sucks.

just a music lover, 07 Aug 2014No radio, no buy.Which century do you live in?! Radios on phones nowadays is obsolete. There are Internet radio services that suffice for a radio and wouldn't drop quality due to the speed of the internet (thanks to LTE and HSDPA), unlike FM radios. There's no point in not buying a phone because of its lack of FM radio.
has the ultra saving mode like in s5?
What is mini about this phone. Iphone is populat because small dimension. Make small power galaxy model with hd resolution and it will be most popular phone.
