The specs are okay exept the chipset.
Snapdragon 400 and adreno 305 is old. Must be snapdragon 600 with 320 to make more poweful :)
And it should have smart features(eg. Multi window) and fm radio :)

I imagine that because they're using this outdated SoC, this phone is quite cheap for them to produce.

Just checked the official GFXBench website and saw two different models of the S5 mini. To those who may not know, GFXBench is a benchmarking application that tests the GPU of a phone. In the benchmarking results of a phone on the website, some specs are also mentioned, and I saw that there are two variants of the S5 mini with one variant (model no. SM-G800H) having a snapdragon 400 chipset with a quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and an adreno 305 GPU. Another variant with model no. SM-G800Y has an Exynos 3 Quad chipset with the same 1.4 GHz Cortex-A7 quad-core CPU, but has a quad-core Mali-400 MP4 GPU instead of the adreno 305. Performance of this quad-core Mali-400 GPU is mostly as good as adreno 305 according to the benchmark results that I checked. But the mali-400 does not support OpenGL ES 3.0 standard as opposed to the adreno 305 that does.

Really Samsung has gone made.shit,it's still mali400.really their are making full peoples.what the use of features when performance doesn't match.aderno 305 is common now a days.and even aderno 305 it's mobile doesn't performs well,friend's grand 2 goes often hang,heat even if a youtube vedio played,it get too hot that u can burn your hands.is it aderno 305 mobile.the same chipset found in Lumia and xperia and what a great performance they provide.shit samsung.

When s5 mini enter in indonesia? we cant wait, so many people wait for this phone here, but until now not enter yet. i searching for the spec and i know this chipset and gpu are lower than s4 mini (sorry, but it's fact and i dont care bout that coz i'm not a gamer). but i still want to having this phone, it's design, screen resolution, water resistant, gorilla glass 3 and more are interesting for me. cant wait, when and when ??!!!

Let's compare the CPU/GPU specs with its predecessor, the S4 Mini.
S5 Mini
CPU: Exynos 3470 (quad-core 1.4 GHz, Cortex-A7)
GPU: Mali-400MP (OpenGL 2.0)
S4 Mini
CPU: Snapdragon 400 (dual-core 1.7 GHz, Krait)
GPU: Adreno 305 (OpenGL 3.0)
So, despite the S5 Mini having 4 cores, the S4 Mini will still outperform it due to having a Krait architecture. For games, the S5 Mini is no match for the S4 Mini. The Adreno 305 is way more powerful than the Mali-400 - which doesn't even support OpenGL 3.
I think Samsung did a big mistake using this CPU/GPU in the S5 Mini. It would have been much better, and a more logical choice if they went for the Snapdragon 410 and Adreno 306.
