I'm planning to buy a new phone (Time to change HTC Desire Bravo) Only the reason i don't buy S5 is its size. I don't like if mobile phones are bigger then pocket size. Mobile phone must be mobilized.
Anyway looking forward to hearing release date of S5 Mini but im exhausted of waiting...

S5mini IS REALLY an awsome smartphone its display , its processor and the out of the box ANDROID KITKAT makes it the perfect smartphone!!!!

Hello everyone!! Does anyone know why the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini hasn't been announced yet? Longest wait ever! What is takin so long!! It's frustrating. No release date!! Why so secretive! Is Samsung deliberately delaying the release till September, so that it competes with the iPhone 6? I'm so upset! I can't eat, I can't sleep properly until this phone is released, so that I can buy it immediately. :(

The s5 mini will very l... moreMost of us wish for the 13 megapixel camera one generation back like S4 Camera.
One reviewer said to upgrade Device to 600 or 800 Series CPU is only about 5 dollars cost.
But as it is the Benchmarks were about 19000 for the S 5 mini , solid Midrange specs and if the 8 megapixel Camera is superior Sensor, could still be very good, but 8 megapixel IS low
spec for this Phone.
Hopefully Samsung will surprise us and upgrade Camera and CPU, and 2 GIG RAM - if not

1.5 Gig RAM
Nice Styling
Will STILL be a very nice phone for many of us.
If it sells in large numbers , maybe a Carrier will order a beefed up Version ....
AT&T S4 MINI has 16 GIG ROM.
So let's see....I will probably get one IF it has correct Bands for LTE....and comes out SOON.
I'd pay $600. for a beefed up PRO MINI.

Missed opportunity from samsung, as someone else posted i would like a s5 mini with the same spec as the s5 so i can get it in my pocket.............i'll probably stick with my s3
