Hello everyone!! Does anyone know why the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini hasn't been announced yet? Longest wait ever! What is takin so long!! It's frustrating. No release date!! Why so secretive! Is Samsung deliberately delaying the release till September, so that it competes with the iPhone 6? I'm so upset! I can't eat, I can't sleep properly until this phone is released, so that I can buy it immediately. :(

The s5 mini will very l... moreMost of us wish for the 13 megapixel camera one generation back like S4 Camera.
One reviewer said to upgrade Device to 600 or 800 Series CPU is only about 5 dollars cost.
But as it is the Benchmarks were about 19000 for the S 5 mini , solid Midrange specs and if the 8 megapixel Camera is superior Sensor, could still be very good, but 8 megapixel IS low
spec for this Phone.
Hopefully Samsung will surprise us and upgrade Camera and CPU, and 2 GIG RAM - if not

Waterproof
16 Gig Rom Memory
1.5 Gig RAM
Nice Styling
Will STILL be a very nice phone for many of us.
If it sells in large numbers , maybe a Carrier will order a beefed up Version ....
AT&T S4 MINI has 16 GIG ROM.
So let's see....I will probably get one IF it has correct Bands for LTE....and comes out SOON.
I'd pay $600. for a beefed up PRO MINI.

ok prepare to remain baffled, S5 mini is BASED on the S5, not the same phone in a smaller wrapping.
iPhones are 64Gb 32Gb 16Gb or 3 variants of ONE phone
The Z2 and the Z1 compact BOTH have 20.7Mp main camera
and 5.3" to 4.3" screen and whilst the Z2 has the better display BOTH these phones have PPI ABOVE that of Apples Retina display
Now I do admit to ignorance when it comes to the synthetic bench marks and for totally UNUSABLE nano seconds saved, I can't see why so many get bent out of shape. it’s a CPU not a light switch so processes.
either buy the S5,16Mp camera phone FLAGSHIP or the S5 Mini 8Mp camera phone
Samsung did get it wrong with the S4 Mini with only 8Gb (5Gb useable) but the S5 mini corrects that)
The S4 Mini is a 4G LTE version of a flagship phone to only have 8gb internal is imo the same as NOT having camera flash
You have to laugh at some of the other comment that it should be priced the same as the 5Mp camera Moto G
Just 2 days ago Amazon fire phone was announced in total secret.
The S5 mini rumoured specs are if not better t5han the IP5S.
So the first hurdle apple have to do is produce a phone better than the S5 Mini and then the IP6 has to be better than the “clone” Amazon fire phone which is 13Mp and 32Gb non expandable phone
I am excited as both the Amazon fire phone and S5 mini are 4.7”
And people are NOT happy with the S5 minis specs.. please

For fantastic, brilliant, super faster, how wait and need everyone, new Samsung Galaxy S5 mini need to contain this basic specs:
1.Display.- 4.5" FHD - LTPS screen - 480 ppi - CGG 3
2.Memory.- 3 GB RAM
3.Chipset.- Snapdragon 805
4.Battery.- 2300mAh or more
if it keeps these specs, will not spared the money to buy this super smartphone, guarantee that it will be the best selling phone on the planet for all-time

They get rid of the plastic coating on the glass which scratches easily and is non removable.
Improve Volume of speaker phone.
Galaxy 5 Mini might be good but compromise on
8 megapixel Camera ( ¿ ).
G2 Mini Tegra has quad core , 13 megapixel Camera ( LTE Bands for TMobile/Metro USA, but NOT released in USA ) BUT no one can get it, no one has done a hands on review.
I have asked about 5 Suppliers about G2MINI TEGRA,- no one can get it, wonder if it was ever really released by LG ....
While I wait for a good MINI I might have to get a
fragile S4 then put a case on it and it will be even bulkier-lol.
