Can anyone answer this question?
I've observed that the app animations are inconsistent in lollipop. Sometimes when there are no tasks running in the background and if i switch from lets say the chrome browser to the settings directly from the notification toggle, there's always a frame drop in the animations. It's not much of an issue for others but it's kind of like an eye sore to me. I've had no issues like these with stock kitkat.
Is it because it's poorly optimized or the phone is at fault?
Currently I'm rocking a moto g 3rd gen but I've used my friend's nexus 6 for a while and I've observed the same app animation stuttering issues on it similar to the one on my phone.
Is samsung sending to the stores for testing purposes fine integrated camera sensor and actually selling unit with less quality on the camera??
Any one heard or knows about this?
My-Name-Is-SAM, 27 Aug 2015OK I've been using this phone for 2 weeks now and I have to say I am impressed. Ya it has so... morehow many free space to use of user in the 32GB version???& how many GBs we have to inztal apps??or can any app derectly inztl to internal mmry..???
OK I've been using this phone for 2 weeks now and I have to say I am impressed. Ya it has some issues like over heating and battery problem but here is the solution-
Since it has a qhd display and also the brightest display in the market so you can use it with half of it's brightness which is still brighter than most of the phones. It last full day with normal use and for full day gaming it needs to charge twice a day.
I don't have any other problems with this device. I played HD games like- thor, asphalt airborne, modern combat 5 and many more without any lag.
Here is my comparison to other phones- I never take my phone to shower if you know what I mean, none of my phone has ever encountered water splash. This is the most vivid and brightest display in the market. I love bigger display phone but this one feels good in hand. I got the platinum gold version which looks awesome, I love android because of its new games but iPhone also good for some features so it depends on your personal preferences. I never changed battery or added memory card in my life so 32 gb storage is good enough for me and if the battery drain more than now than I will change to a better phone.
So if you know how to customise your phone with your personal preferences I don't think you will complain about the phone at all but if you like bigger display then you should buy note 5.
At the end I know lots of you will start arguing with me so here is my reply to you in advance-
I DON'T CARE. If you have problems with new phones then go to your older phone page. The up coming phones will beat this phone in every features and I won't start arguing with them like a stupid person.
how can i reduce blurring from fast motion subject's photos captured by gs6
john vincent, 26 Aug 2015g4 or s6??? help meI have used both of them so I shall suggest G4, it's a piece of mind.
No worries about battery life, memory increase etc. The screen size is more than S6. Camera quality is same even G4 is better in low light.
Help Guyz..how many free space to use of user in the 32GB version???& how many GBs we have to inztal apps??or can any app derectly inztl to internal mmry..???
Kashif khan, 21 Aug 2015S6 failure of samsung terrible battery timing 12 to 14 hours with moderate usage also same kin... moreDo u have any idea abt s6 ??? Just saying things from your mind.sd card and removable battery are meaningless.how can a phone have removable battery with back glass panel !!!
Samsung S6 is definitely a beauty from the outside with some best specs from the inside.
The phone is fantastic fast when compared to other peers and loaded with a 3GB RAM and a 64 bit octa core processor, no lag, multitasking is like a cakewalk with a buttery smooth touch. The display being super AMOLED (2560x1440) and a ppi of 577 is the best in the current market and better than the Note4.The 16MP rear camera is also good with smart optical image stabilization being it's best feature. The finger print scanner works too good and is way better than what was in the S5. The wireless charging feature is also fairly good. The look of the phone feels great, premium and the build quality is very good and feels great when you hold it in your hand .The dual edge screen is also of great use and the S6 edge is actually better than the S6 when it comes to looks. Overall the phone is super awesome and is the best flagship smartphone samsung has ever released and is the best flagship in the current market. The only con is it's battery as it is 2600Mah battery,
it drains battery pretty fast with the beastly specs under the S6's hood.
For those who like to go with brands this could be the one with an higher cost on 50k+ , just go for it blindly without a second thought
yasser , 25 Aug 2015can i use teh galxy s6 sm-g920f undr waterOnly if you don't want to keep it. So no.
yasser , 25 Aug 2015can i use teh galxy s6 sm-g920f undr waterYasser, i think the S6 is water resistant if you want to use smartphone underwater, better use the Sony Xperia Z3 or M4. Even Sonys can only be used for 30 minutes under water.
got brand new S6 on Sunday, did some updates on apps and software. last night it just crushed. started to restarting itself over and over again. apparently two ways to fix it - go to safe mode (i don't want to use my phone on safe mode for the rest of the time...) OR reset it factory setting (which the technicians will just do that to 'fix' it). took me more than a day to get everything so perfect on the new device - but boom, here it crushes. really heart breaking. don't even trust the new Android anymore.
