The Masterpiece, 24 May 2015So you can extend the memory on the s6 then.Yes if you don't mind using a phone with usb sticking on it. ofc it is a bad idea. samsung should not have remove the micro sd feature in this phone. After 6 months to 1 year this phone will become laggy due to updates that eats a huge percentage of the memory plus I cannot install many hd games cause the memory is very limited :(
I finally made my mind and bought S6 without waiting for G4. The only thing holding me back was the battery backup that every one was complaining about. And, I am pleasantly surprised! The battery is nothing the devil it was made up to be. In fact, with my usage , G3 used to barely get me through a day. Well this s6 ends the day with a healthy 30% juice left. Well, I guess I made a good choice.
Anonymous, 24 May 2015And u can also Expand ur storage via usb otg upto 2.5 tera byte. So you can extend the memory on the s6 then.
Anonymous, 24 May 2015No. But it is an unwritten rule. Even theories by the great minds does not have a written copy... moreNot just glass but gorilla glass 4 and no one can claim that they have used that first can they.. like everyone else says who cares if you don't like it don't buy it. There's no point in winging to s6 users that know the s6 is the best phone on the market....
Sam Cheong, 24 May 2015Have Sony and Apple register the camera design and non removable battery design as their copyright? No. But it is an unwritten rule. Even theories by the great minds does not have a written copyright but as a part of HUMAN ETHIC we do not suppose to claim and copy them. Your logic is irrational. Before the s6 came to be, Samsung fanboys bash on z3 and iphone having a glass back now that the samsung released the s6 that has a glass back you fanboys praise it like it was the first phone with glass back.
Sam Cheong, 24 May 2015Have Sony and Apple register the camera design and non removable battery design as their copyright? The smartphone is not one invention. It is
And many of those inventions existed before Apple
decided to make a phone.
Apple did not create the ingredients for the
smartphone. Apple came up with a recipe. And it
was a recipe which disrupted the other
That's actually much more difficult, but you cannot
patent a recipe.
Apple does hold patents on a number of specific
inventions which are part of the iPhone. It also pays
licences for inventions developed by others.
So, it is completely legal for any smartphone company to copy similar design language as they also pay for those licences.
You cannot patent design as they are not invention. If people start to patent their hairstyle and fashion it would be ridiculous. Design is not invention. Phone camera placement, type of material, shapes, button placement are all recipes.

[deleted post]Stop blabbering.
Mention those technical issues or see the exit.
Well done Samsung.. You have now copied you competitors after baging them for no removal battery and sd card, you have followed suit. S5 us still a MUCH better phone ... The S6 has caused me to hardly touch my phone for games etc. As if I used it normally, it would be flat in 2 to 3 hours... USELESS Samsung USELESS... You could have easily made a chargable battery ... well I know how much revenue you will lose when people start taking them back in under warranty and getting them replaced due to the charge not holding... or havent you thought that far ahead yet.... ONE DAY YOU MIGHT LEARN... public dictate your revenue GIVE THEM WANT THEY WANT OR FALL as you will over this. ..S5 was an S4 with new hat.. S6 is a S5 withnnew hat and glass..
Anonymous, 23 May 2015Maybe they won't. I used to NEED 32GB internal and 64GB on microSD and now I manage just fine ... moreFor some people 32gb should be fairly enough for phone use. It would be tiring to take 10000 pictures and view them one by one on a phone. Instead, uploading them to a pc and view those pictures on pc would be more comfortable. I think with 32gb it can do so many things, so there should be no concern on phones not being able to expand memory storage. Samsung design phones based on trend, they observe the ecosystem of people and surrounding digital devices. S6 is a good phone, if not the best.
I am soon getting S6.
However, I think Samsung might bring back the sd card slot if many customers really want this to be there for next successor. It all depends on feedbacks.
Anonymous, 23 May 2015They might not make that kind of move with the note series. And if they wont, then the s6 sale... moreMaybe they won't. I used to NEED 32GB internal and 64GB on microSD and now I manage just fine with the 32GB internal and 115GB One Drive storage. I was outraged when I heard it wouldn't be included but don't miss it.
I have been using the indian version of galaxy s6 black sapphire for a week now and so far it has been a great phone.
Internal storage of 25gb in 32gb model.
Screen looks gorgeous and Camera is superb. Even low light shots turn out to be great.
It felt a bit slippery initially though due to back glass but I got used to it now.
Overall it is a very fast device but occasionally slight stutter is there, but thats negligible.
Charging is super fast, from 30 to 100% in about 50 min.
Battery is neither too great nor too bad. I easily get 5 hrs sot with 20% brightness since I work indoors mostly. Standby is too good.I lose 2% overnight at most in power save mode.
I consider myself a moderate user and usually I come back in evening with battery around 50 to 60%.
I havent experienced overheating or battery drain problem so far.
Overall I would say if you want android phone, s6 is the best.

Next they will be making rectangular shaped phones with a few buttons around the frame and a big touch screen on the one side and a camera on the back. Who'd have thought, eh?
Can anyone on here actually post a personal review or is it above all of you?
You can all brand bash and moan as much as you like (wah wah wah I'm an adult who can't get over that some companies use other companies good idea) but as far as I'm concerned and in my own opinion the S6 is the best phone I've ever had and used. I've sampled and owned a hell of a lot of phones over the years and FOR ME it is great. You can have and are entitled to your own opinions but jesus I swear some of you don't actually have lives that these phones fit into. You all sound like you sit in your mother's basements running benchmark tests. Not everyone is a power user. Not everyone needs *insert petty hardware/software feature here*. Samsung identified that people like an eye popping screen, a quick SoC, premium materials and a particular layout (because hey that's smartphone evolution for you!) and as far as I'M concerned (wow my own opinion) they delivered. It's like watching a bunch of children argue over which is the best superhero...
