As I know Samaung is KOREAN. And yes Asus & HTC are Taiwanese. The question is who's better among of them?

The only high quality chinese phone i have seen is from Asus(Taiwan specifically), Huawei and Vivo. At least they dont make phone with cheap plastic. HTC from China also known to have high reputation as well. They should have it in the UK by now. You probably dont even know which is chinese and which is not.
Samsung S6 has problem with camera and i am the one to buy one of these mobiles...i lost my money 700 euros photos so bad quality can not see even who is the person i take photo...and the answer was that they can not change my mobile for a new one . Bravo Samsung you don't recognise the problem is coming from your factory and make people lose money....No service!!!!!!!

They are more used for assembling mobile devices for the larger competitors. This does not mean they are not capable but they are well known for using materials such as plastics that are not made to the same standards as other well known brands. I have not seen any Chinese phones in the shops here in the UK the only way to purchase a Chinese phone is through the Internet. I'm sure it will change in the future but not to the same level as today's top brands.

UK is a beautiful and modernized country...^_^ I do know that there always goes wrong when China is making electronic devices--more frequent than other countries. And there seems to be some people complaining when working in China--most notably FoxConn. I could tell that there are some Chinese phone makers, such as Meizu, trying to sell their products to many other countries, but I think it is kinda difficult for their products to be accepted. Also the politic in China might have something to do with this. Some of their phones were preinstalled with spyware or things like that, according to some unofficial rumor. I am not sure so I am unabke to comment about it.

Without a good reputation and customer service it will be unlikely that apple and samsung will be threatened by the mass produced Chinese phones.

If you feel better buying a Chinese phone that's up to you but don't expect the same reliability and service from the manufacturer. Snapdragon 820 is not even being announced until September so you would be waiting for beginning of next year to get it. Glad its your money not mine.

Korea is very professional when it comes to internet, making chipsets and mobile phones--they are also very good at marketing just like Apple Inc. I won't deny that Chinese phones will surpass Samsung and Apple, but that won't happen anytime soon. Give it another 4 years and we will find out what it is...^_^hehe

Frankly speaking, some of my buddies recommend me to buy mini version of Series, I kinda hesitated. I knew it would be better to choose the original ones. So buying mini can be a suggestion if the original one no longer in production...^^
S6 has lost its luster, becuz of many Chinese competition as some are going for SOC 820 4gb ram. Edge wud be a unique experience, this is simply vanilla. Specs ate same but S6 bring top of charts, as Edge is missing, why price high or waiting for N5 nSept.
AnonD-365011, 08 Jun 2015That is a very interesting point. Maybe they should not release any mini-version of their S se... moreThe problem with the mini is it's just a normal midrange phone that looks like the powerful flagship version. Other than the look they are completely different so people just pay more because it looks like the flagship. Samsung has the A series now which has pretty much the same performance as the mini range. My wife had a s5 mini in the past and she was disappointed because it looked good but was nothing like the s5 that she has now in performance. It seems silly that they should add the mini in the mix when they already have a low range mid range and flagship already.
sammY, 08 Jun 2015i advice samsung not to release a mini version of their flagship....S6 should be S6(not about ... moresame opinion. The midrange should be midrange,if they built midrange phone ugly there is no problem..if people have no money, they will buy it,but people who can find more money they will purchase the flagship for sure as they notice the difference..... eg: range rover freelander lokks ugly compared to range rover sport and evoque

Maybe they should not release any mini-version of their S series thus S series might sell better...^^? So people will not wait, they will just buy S phones right away.
sammY, 08 Jun 2015i advice samsung not to release a mini version of their flagship....S6 should be S6(not about ... moreCompletely agree with you. I don't really know many people who would choose the midrange mini any more. Rather than a mini they should concentrate on a alpha range as they did better with the alpha than s5 mini and they are pretty much the same size but different design. The s series should be top flagship phone. Note should be top range phablet. Alpha midrange phone to take the mini series place.
