Until now, all my smartphones have been HTC. I've always preferred the build quality and Sense. My previous phone was an HTC One. It's been a brilliant phone with little to pick fault with. It's only flaw has been the camera. It's OK but not great. So my next phone was going to be an HTC One (M9). However I had a chance to compare this with the S6 and there was really no competition. The build quality on the S6 is great. It's a bit slippery in the hand but apart from that it's fine. The other thing that put me off Samsung phones in the past has been TouchWiz. It has always looked like it had been designed by 'Fisher Price'. This is no longer the case. It's still not as polished as Sense but it's vastly improved and very liveable with. The M9 isn't a vast leap on from the M7. The S6 is. All the reviews and comparisons of the S6 are generally fair and accurate. Finally, as nice looking as the S6 Edge is, it isn't as nice as the S6. The screen edges reflects light too much and when it's on it's back it's difficult to pick up as the edges are too thin. These simple things made the Edge unusable for me.

While I like the overall design and quality of the S6, it won't matter how nice it looks once there is a case on it. I used my Note 4 with a case, so I'm definitely putting one on this. I'll miss being able to put in SD cards and having all my media, but I'll use the cloud. I wish there was a bigger battery, my only complaint.

How do you make the captive keys at the bottom of the phone stay on please?

It looks amazing and it tops every smartphone top done by any serious reviewer out there. That's what a high end smartphone should do - obliterate the competition in terms of quality.
If you want money wasting devices that cost $100 to make but sell for $700, go to the iphone 6 page x
Shashi, 12 Apr 2015Too costly ............ The Samsung galaxy S6 is a premium phone that's why it's so costly...
No SD slot or radio. No removable battery. No better than iPhone now. No upgrade for me.
I got to use the s6 and must say the screen is good .
No replacement battery or sd card slot make it a bit dissatisfied.
Radio not found this phone. Display not better from galaxy S6 edge. But sound much better because of DB and noise restricted. Compared to price not better at all.
ThatOneSmartDude, 11 Apr 2015I have no idea what you just saidToo costly ............
