brother David, 19 Mar 2015Can somebody please tell me how I can viably protect, and "waterproof" the S - 6? H... moreyou can't protect it against the water, and reliable sources are telling me that this phone is so susceptible to water damage,
you all soon learn how this phone dies on splashes of water being thrown at it, yes this is how sensitive it is and make sure specially the bottom of the phone don't see any means of water.
this is useless for Samsung to bring all this design and power and unable to protect it with water proofing, truly damaging
Wazza G, 19 Mar 2015Prove that most people DO NOT use the extra memory of an SD card. A 32 & 64Gb sized S6 ... moreAs far as I know, 128 Gb sd cards are the greater capacity avaliable for now. If even a 128 Gb storage smartphone isn´t enough for you, then you may need a 1 Tb portable hard drive. Smartphones are not intended for the purpose you want.
why some people always wana search 4 prob...?samsung do a great job by designing tiz phone wit high quality materials....well done samsung...and 4 the haters just suck...
BRad666, 19 Mar 2015guys what you mean about non removemable battery? is it build together with the phone or still... moreBasically, the back cover is not removable. This me aspens no external storage or removable battery
BRad666, 19 Mar 2015guys what you mean about non removemable battery? is it build together with the phone or still... moreYes that means the battery is built in (like the iphone). You can not remove the battery at any point yourself with out voiding the warranty.
assasinezio4, 19 Mar 2015battery life sucks if compare with galaxy s5..Another sick person condemning the 2550mah of this phone with no first hands on experience ..sigh..sigh..peace..
what do u mean buily in battret...
i luved Samsung bcoz i could remove the battrey when in like a meeting or something..
and sd card slot.. i mean what if i want to store music externally without using USB or BLUETOOTH..
guys what you mean about non removemable battery? is it build together with the phone or still there's a battery compartment?
Can somebody please tell me how I can viably protect, and "waterproof" the S - 6? Here's why - I have a pretty active life, and sometimes it is at least possible that my new phone could get wet.
it has an usb host so you can attach any drive up to 256 gb on i try already on s5 so why s6 whont read that to alwas can have an external storage with the usb host
Wazza G, 19 Mar 2015Prove that most people DO NOT use the extra memory of an SD card.
A 32 & 64Gb sized S6 ... morewater proofing is the main key feature which is missing
so basically all those technology can sink UNDER THE WATER and die... so what is the point?
Erkan, 19 Mar 2015I think they will suggest you waterproof covers :))There is certainly a reply their what you mean?
1701, 19 Mar 2015not really no one needs to be fired, the fact is most users don't use microsd. Also it's known... moreProve that most people DO NOT use the extra memory of an SD card.
A 32 & 64Gb sized S6 would be absolutely useless to me, a 128Gb would be viable for no more than 3-4 months, I have so much data, music & video on board.
That's data that can't be erased, music is 20Gb and growing & video is used for work purposes amongst other things.

guys, just for your info, while I don't care about none removable battery, I enquire from Samsung and they charge you a rip off figure of £200 to change your GS6 battery if one day dies.. remember battery is NOT part of your 2 years guarantee.
how about water proofing though?
they deliberately make this NOT water proof, to rip you off more, which the phone sees a splashes of water it is just good for the bin, and I hope you never replace it with another Samsung.
Samsung failed, I truly don't care how much technology they packed in there, if they don't care to protect it with water proofing features, then that tells me something sucks so badly here.
so no matter how you want to argue this, but lack of water proofing is a serious issue here.
technology moved on, and many phones are no offering water proofing feature as standard now, and Samsung gone a step back wards by removing the water proofing, so they offered it in GS5 but not GS6!!?
I know the reason, but I hope you have a serious thought about it before buying this piece of useless gimmick, if it sees the water it would be useless.
Anonymous, 19 Mar 2015l'm disappointed. I've still got the S2 after waiting through all following models hoping for ... moreI actually loved my S2, didn't change until one day which die on me, then I got myself S3,
resisted to buy any of the latest model , they truly not offer much for the money.
S2 still amazing phone, still relevant, still performing, and so nice to carry
shame the mother board died on my, so make sure you back up everything, I lost loads of nice pictures
1701, 19 Mar 2015You can press and hold the power button, if it hangs. This device is true flagship, you can si... moreI don't care about lack of CD card, but very much care about lack of water proofing,
to me it is just so stupid to make the unibody phone, with no removable battery but STILL UNABLE to offer a water proofing!! that truly sucks. splashes if water and then your £800 phone is good for the bin! yes that is how sensitive they make it to empty your pocket after you water damaged it.
also glass all over the phone might look nice, but certainly NOT PRACTICAL
on a simple drop the both side of the phone is exposed to be shatter to pieces, secondly with the glass on both side, means finger prints will be all over your slick phone like a shit! I don't want that.
the rest of the gimmicks will be absolute standard in couple of months on all the new smart phones, so Samsung achieved nothing special here,
don't fall for this and don't throw your money after this fragile phone, you will truly regret it,
I can't stand apple, HTC, but really so eager to see what Sony will offer, and I think they are the one who will be the big winner this year.
buying this phone is like throwing your money into a bin
have some respect for yourself and just wait more exciting phone are soon coming to the market
