Anonymous, 03 Mar 2015You can get 128GB card for $100, but do you invest $100 for sd card. I doubt True question and fact.
95 to 97% of people won't invest 50$+ in microSD cards for their smartphone. Being high quality speed (UHS3) or very high capacity.
Even myself was holding until S6 announcement before buying a couple of 128gb microSD cards to replace my 2 years old 64gb's.
Anonymous, 04 Mar 2015Benchmark scored are a kind of marketing! Samsung used benchmark scores to promote its galaxy... moreAnd if benchmarks results had been lower for S6, you would have said same ? Guess not.
NO SD card... m bit sad :(. y u people who saying abt cloud storage not considering internet cost n subscription costs for higher storage and 24/7 fast internet connectivity to see ua cloud data and "after all" u have to download ua data to use offline when u dont hv internet. i truly admire s6/edge but y not SD card????
for removable back i cant remember when i remove my battery last time... its ok for non removable back
Erkan, 04 Mar 2015Project zero .. yes true .. if you dont have a internet connection Galaxy S6 = zero , no radio... moreWell, you got warned last year right after S5 :
No FM Radio
No MicroSD card
Hernan, 03 Mar 2015Wow, 350.000 daily hits. Never seen that before for a new phone here in GSM Would be nice if it wasn't about same trolls over and over copy/pasting his same message :)
Really the most desirable phone. Samsung left behind than apple because of bad looking design instead of twice as much better in terms of display , cpu , camera , ram , innovations etc than apple . This phone is perfect from inside and outside so surely can break fantasy of apple.
No Memory SD slot is not a matter to everyone's who loves Samsung high-tech beyond Apple's
Slimz, 04 Mar 2015Lol. Anyone who says that this phone won't sell is a joker. So many phones have non removable ... moreBut samsung used to mock them. watch the advertisement of galaxy s5 wallhuger. now samsung is making its user wallhugers deliberately.
Im a Samsung Customer used S2,S3 & S4 but fed up of same model and usage...no change in look, cheap and costly mobiles looking same...very poor battery backup, Samsung team should think adding features consumes more battery but only 255omAH is really very poor...S6 also looks like same Samsung old models...
Having a removable battery is to protect ourselves. Imagine you bring your power draining S6 to service center, especially those with service personnel who can open up the phone on the spot in front of you to prove that the battery is bloated or faulty. If not, they can just say that the battery is bloated and need to be changed and you can't witness it. FYI, the new S6 and S6 edge has not screws visible on the exterior, I doubt they will open up in front of customers at the service center unless they have special tools for it. I will wait for this scenario first before buying.
All the who are criticising S6 for not having micro sd card, should research about UFS 2.0
Project zero .. yes true .. if you dont have a internet connection Galaxy S6 = zero , no radio , no cloud services .. galaxy is becoming more dependent to internet step by step. micro sd still an essential feature. and fm radio too
Benchmark scored are a kind of marketing!
Samsung used benchmark scores to promote its galaxy lineups
But, benchmark scores are merely" on_paper number"
It has nothing to do with performance and speed
For eg, iPhone and Z3 benchmark score are less than galaxy Alpha But Sony & Apple smartphones are fast and has excellent performances in real user experience
So, benchmark scores app are only app standard and only gimmick
[deleted post]U just compare iphone 6 with galaxy s4 and see which is good..apple is generations behind Samsung.
So disappointed in the GS6. Working with cell phones I know what a pain it is not to have a removable battery. I always recommend against phones like that. And the removable memory card no longer begging part of the phone is another major turn off for me. I like being able to take pictures and go to the photo kiosk in Walmart to print them off. Guess I will be going with the note 4 if I want a new phone and pray that with the GS7 they bring back the things that made me get a galaxy and not an iPhone.
Congratulations Samsung! After years of tipping the scales of the market away from Apple by providing superior value and functionality, not to mention SD card support and a removable battery, you've managed to upgrade your phone to an iPhone - and not just any iPhone - the older, uselessly fragile glass-backed variety. Now that you've become the very thing your customers were avoiding, we'll see who steps up to compete with your Samsung iPhone and positions themselves to fill the huge gap you've introduced. Prepare yourselves for a tremendous market share loss and a tragic loss of consumer base due to this debacle of a phone. You have made an unrecoverable mistake here Samsung - please rectify these mistakes with the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S7.
Samsung s6 no sd card space is acceptable but nonremoveable battery will big problem bcos Samsung battery is not that gud like iphone battery which maintain same power after 2-3 years.Samsung battery get tired and get 25% damage after 1 year.then it will hard to change the battery after 1 year...so i will say bye bye to Samsung before its cuming....
