Anonymous, 05 Mar 2015Lack of a memory card slot may make this long awaited buy a no go for me.Ditto my friend. 2 of the main reasons I stayed with the galaxy line were the Micro SD slot and removable battery. Can't justify not getting iPhones for the whole family now. It's to bad.
Yes some people are complaining small things instead of having best other important things.
no memory expansion and non-removable battery?!!?!?
So with the built-in memory, you can videotape all of 30 mins, lol.
As for the battery, I personally prefer to buy expanded battery which can last up to 2-3 times as long.
Depending on the size of the battery, you can get one with 2x the power for the same size.
I guess i'll stick with my Galaxy S5 for now.
Hey old lcd user specially iphone user , try the super AMOLED display how beautiful, vivid, vibrant and sharp contrast than lcd display. In front of Samsung iphone seems soo dull and faded screen.
m86k, 06 Mar 2015We see too many of this kind while browsing comments everyday :)Sometimes i can't stand it when people bash a product without even knowing it, Samsung introduced DDR4 RAM, UFS 2.0, 16 MP f1.9 camera sensor, fast charging & wireless charging, Samsung Pay, etc. and made a beautiful phone in a very long time but no one cares about it, all they care about is Removable battery and SD Cards.

The only doubt i have on this, is the buttons.
I had bought one for my S5 and i stopped using it because buttons where too "hard" to press at the point that i was afraid of damaging my phone if i was slipping while forcing my way on them.

I looked for one of those in the past and couldn't find one so I think I've forgotten about them. I am a big fan of glass screen protectors after trying several types of plastic-based ones. I'm sure there will be some cool cases and stuff. I'm probably going for an Edge as well. If it's too slippery, I'll probably go for a transparent case, something like: http://www.amazon.com/Verus-Protection-Samsung-Crystal-Transparent/dp/B00U0PX66K/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1425604962&sr=8-1
Yay for new gadgets!

I would expect to lose 1% or less battery life per hour if I disabled mobile data & wifi on any flagship Android. With wifi on it should lose less than 2% per hour. Bob could have a faulty battery, but it's likely a software issue. Bob could factory reset it if he can't figure out what is eating his battery. Then if the issue persisted, he could get an official Samsung S5 battery for $24. Bob could do lots of things but he has a 6+ so his S5 gets no love.

You'll get both back+front film protectors. Really high quality, keeping a smooth touch feeling and very durable against daily wearing.
I'm aiming at a back cover as transparent/slim as possible like official ones from Samsung because i'll buy S6 Edge.

Definitely needs some troubleshooting done to it. You shouldn't lose more than 2% per hour when not in use, and with mobile data and wifi off at night (like bob said he does), I would expect to lose 1% or less per hour. Looks like it would cost about $24 for an official battery from Amazon for the S5. Or he could swap with a fellow S5 user for a couple days if he has any friends IRL.

I didn't use my phone much today, unpluggued it last night before going to bed so that it was 100% around 1AM i think, currently i have 72% : Did a few calls, sent/received a few whatsapp messages, showed a mate S6's official presentation on youtube. Made 2 videos and sent them on whatsapp then on my dropbox with LTE, checked my emails a quite few times and had bluetooth enabled for my Gear Fit. This is typical for a S5.

I used to be a Samsung fan, but no more. They are fond of abandoning their flagships when it comes to OS updates.

I was hoping for a metal back cuz I would totally rock the S6 with no case, but with a glass back I'm thinking I probably would need a case. Then again, the front glass isn't going to be covered so why bother covering the back? Tough choice for me.
