This is such a sad news, non removable battery... sorry i will not buy your new phone. I may consider nother brand for removable battery. I will not become a consumer victim - to be forced to change the phone in a couple of years when the battery will start not to hold charge and teh value of the phone will drop dramatically because of that. You should have thought this over SAMSUNG. People bought your phones over the Iphones because you offered a removable battery option and more life than an iphone. sad sad sad! :(
U dont need sdcard slot?
When u drop your phone, and break it,.. And there is alot of your photo, document, music, etc...
I bet you will thankful if there is microsd slot..
Some people need microsd slot, for the worst case,..
S6 is on the right track. Please stop complaining about these old features - removable battery and the SD slot. If Samsung "fan" love these features and water resisting, why Samsung could not sell S5 like a hotcake?? BTW, for those need the removable battery and the SD slot, you still can get the S5 with all of those features.
The conception about project zero is copy iphone. Make people like captive. Its hard, or worst, because Galaxy S series was freedom until 6 genereation. Samsung started dig own grave.
I dont understand why remove slot sdcard. I know that internal memory is faster than sd class10, but no reason to remove the slot. Leave slot if, owner want to buy sdcard, he can.
Snake, 03 Mar 2015When is this phone launching. I will buy 20 peiceMay be when you spell "piece" right!
I currently Use the Galaxy Stellar, a two year old basic smartphone Samsung released, and I frequently make use of the removable battery, and store all of my photos and music on an SD card because I want to listen to music on the go without using my data, like I would have to or streaming on music apps or from cloud services. If I had to upgrade my phone, I would choose the Note 4 over the Galaxy s6 due to the lack of the SD card slot, which is great for those who have
m86k, 03 Mar 2015Sad story :) Hopefully you aren't used to that kind of situation weekly/monthly?Anyone who walks their dogs in any weather knows the problems of keeping your phone and wallet dry because I can't just hide under a shelter every time it drizzles with rain and just keep walking hoping it doesn't get worse.
Deeply disappointed. No micro SD, battery not removable and not water prove.
will wait for.Sony's z4 and as usual it will leave behind this phone in features and in performance

Thanks fo the good inovation. But have you failed to create solar charged display or case to increse power duration?
m86k, 03 Mar 2015LOL Sammy. And to comfort Michael, anyway S1 is an old phone, so no wonder if it takes a ... moreI tried that but was walking the dogs along a footpath less than a mile from home and a freak downpour that lasted less than 5 minutes hit me and phone was in my pocket and it soaked through the jacket I was wearing and my pockets were just pooling the water so nothing I did and no none waterproof phone could have survived that.
none removable battery and no SD card slot.
ask LG how that worked with the G2.
I wans interested until I read that.
m86k, 03 Mar 2015I was not saying that water resistance/proof is an useless feature. Only point out that haters... moreWaterproofing for me is only for when caught out in the rain and I didn't want to buy the active versions of the Galaxy phones just for that because they are bigger phones, but now because of the lack of SD slot and removable battery I can't even use the S6 and I'm hoping they make something with the same specs but with the card slot and battery, and waterproofing is a feature I can live without and isn't a deciding factor for the phone.
Sammy, 03 Mar 2015Dear Michael
I am so amazed by your comments,
I get out, and I ware a right gear, you live... moreLOL Sammy.
And to comfort Michael, anyway S1 is an old phone, so no wonder if it takes a bit of water that it will get into serious troubles.
I'm used to use my phones under rain being certified against water or not. If i ever get soaked like you did, i would just hold my phone under my shirt and run to some place until it stops raining or to my home...
AnonD-56991, 03 Mar 2015Waterproofing has been very helpful for me because now I don't have to carry a little plastic ... moreI was not saying that water resistance/proof is an useless feature. Only point out that haters was saying that back when S5 was announced.
Now i think if they remove that feature from S6, they may have good reasons. Like a guy posted a few posts before me, or simply because their charging/battery tech is incompatible with water? Who knows. We aren't working for Samsung, none of us.
