No sd card, no expanded battery option. Might as well buy a crapple phone.
harlekkin, 02 Mar 2015I bet you've never used iTunes with an iPhone, but I HAVE used a GALAXY device on Kies and it ... moreYou can't stand that you are caught in Apple ecosystem, that's all. We all know that way of thinking and seeing things.
harlekkin, 02 Mar 2015I bet you've never used iTunes with an iPhone, but I HAVE used a GALAXY device on Kies and it ... moreI have already used itunes, i bought 2 iphones for my gf. So ? Itunes is for morons or not tech-savvy users. As simple as that.

The reason we get a Galaxy is for the OS and expandeble memory. I see no reason to upgrade Ill stay with my S5. Also saw nothing about the S6 being as durable as the 5.
no radio, no SD csrd.... its a worst version of S series. now let me choice another phone... !
My deepest sympathies for all the Samsung fans out there... Who stays with their ugly plastic crap phone, rather than buying an iPhone 6. Mocking iPhone for the battery, memory and it's "outdated" specs...
And after months of waiting, what they're expecting was just a simply clone of iPhone 6.
So sad for you guys. I really do...
there is no sdcard slot
oooooh man Wtf
ooooh samsung what are u doing
this is the main thing that u missed?

So, please go and use an iPhone first before talking.
Anonymous, 02 Mar 2015Ah crap! No SD card and removable battery? So i HAVE to buy the 128Gig version? No thanks! ... moreSamsung devices sucks cause they just launch new products which reduces the old devices.
i understand some of the complaints about lack of sd slot and removable battery, but you guys brought this on yourselves. At the end of the day, samsung is solely concerned about moving product... apple sold a record amount of smartphones with the lack of the aforementioned features while the s5 and note4 had mediocre numbers. So you guys are sending a pretty loud and resounding message. Samsung is just replying.

On android, you can also use software directly from your phone to do your backups/restores on the fly : sprite backup, titanium etc..
But originally, you were bragging about managing your contents, not full backups etc.., so make up your mind. If you need to launch such an app to copy 3 directories before going to work, it's your problem.
Android and Galaxy S are about choices, it's not the debate here : but if you don't know them, try to look for Airdroid, Kies Air etc. Maybe you can learn 1 thing or 2.
AnonD-370022, 02 Mar 2015... no microSD, non-removable battery does not equal FAIL! Apple have never had removable batt... moreSamsung has never been Apple; that's a good thing. You Appleboys should stay on your side of the fence and not cross over. All Samsung Galaxy phones have always had a micro SD card. This is a big change and I won't be buying a SG6 due to this design flaw, also.
Iam not sure if i will buy s6.I own two samsung S4 and note4 I do not see much difrence with S6 unless samsung convince me other wise.Thank you.
Most people I know and I, don't buy Google phones because of the lack of SD cards.
Removing the SD-CARD eliminates the only advantage Samsung has over Straight Google phones.

But most non-savy users want a one-in-all solution for backing up their phone, contacts and media, and nothing in the Android world can offer that.
I plug my iPhone into my PC or Mac, and it automatically backs up, syncs downloaded apps and media, and let's me have a full image of my phone that I can use in emergencies. Restoring a back-up with iTunes restores my phone to the last used state.
Show me a software that can do that with a click of a button.
