The thing about the s6 edge plus is that it IS a great device even now. I have owned several and I am still pleased with its display and camera. Its very thin too. Its sharp and clear and the pictures are beautiful. 16MP is a joy to shoot photos with because of all the detail it captures.
Yes its true, newer models do better in low light but I don't take pictures indoors with the lights off. And why the hell would I?
About battery life and other things. You have to KNOW how to maintenance and tweak your android settings to get the most out of it. That goes with any model today. There are so many tweaks to boost your phones speed and battery.
If anyone is interested I can show you what to do. If helps tremendously!
I love the S6 edge plus....I like it better than the S7 edge honestly. Eventually I will go over to the note 8. =)
Mine is used but rins lighting fast and has pretty good battery life.
Worst battery backup and battery availability also too much delay for replacement. My phone is not working with Jio LTE,,checked with samsung and Reliance JIO ,,,,no use
Anonymous, 28 Sep 2018How do you get so long battery life? It's imposibleWell, i don't have wifi/localization/LTE turned on constantly, usually i have battery mode on, mostly web surfing, YT and texting and stock-based games.
At the end of the day i still have 30% battery.
If You do that and can't last 12-14h better go to samsung to check out Your battery real capacity, they charge about 100$ for replacment if needed.
Ioannis, 27 Sep 2018You will be dissapointed my friend. Battery life is a joke, 3-3.5 hours screen on time per day... moreI agree on the battery part its mediocre but not the camera, it takes great pics even in low lights compared to the likes of Sony.
Sam799, 26 Sep 2018Great!! You won't be disappointed. You will be dissapointed my friend. Battery life is a joke, 3-3.5 hours screen on time per day the most, camera in the dark is mediocre, no sd card, fragile screen. Get the s7 edge, it is superior to everything but the 0.2 inches smaller screenj.
Mkaka beats, 19 Sep 2018Am about having this beast, can't sleep waiting to get this bbyGreat!! You won't be disappointed.
The phone is good.Enjoying every bit of it.But one need to be very careful. The screen is fragile.
Anonymous, 24 Jul 2018I am still using the android 6.0,,,where is 7.0,,,😭😭😭&... moreI'm still on 6 and perfectly happy. Smooth and no bugs.
Won't upgrade as i don't want those tiny fonts of later versions and don't need security updates as don't use it for banking etc.
Anonymous, 24 Aug 2018I love this phone, after 2 years still works. It still is a head turner even in 2018. What a sexy phone!!! My friends envy my S6 edge+ that's why I don't wanna upgrade it still is one of the sexiest phones out there.
N01r, 21 Aug 2018Nearly 3 yeara with this phone. And all i can tell that i don't see any competitors. Works... moreExactly! This phone is one of the best Samsung ever made, I'm really happy with it. Yeah it's a shame that it'll not be updated to Oreo. Still I'll stick with my S6 edge plus for another year.
Nearly 3 yeara with this phone.
And all i can tell that i don't see any competitors.
Works perfectly, fast and sharp, no lags or problems.
Screen is perfect, and i use it extensively throughout the day for very long time now, no AMOL-ed burnouts, althou in very sharp sunlight i can see some 'smuges'
Design hasn't 'got old', still looking great, bezels are maybe to thick considering phones in 2018 but i don't mind. Lays perfect in hands, not like slick s8/s9.
Battery was checked in samsung shop - capacity 98%, it will steadily last throughout a day of extensive usage (some people saying that battery is weak - i don't see the problem, one charching before sleep).
Overal strong 10/10. For current price - complete overkill, considering that procesors and RAM improvments doesn't really make much of a difference in day-to-day usage.
If S10 won't be a blast - i will wait with my phone till the phones will bring me something new, not a turbo-omygod-855-processor something.
Only shame that it didn't get the oreo update, but it's not in Samsung interest to keep old phones alive long, good that tey don't go for killing battery or network (a.k.a Apple)
