I had the same problem, the problem is not with the battery or cell phone, not even the charger.
The problem is cable, try to change the cable , use another cable it will work perfectly.
I face the same problem and then I change my cable, everything works perfectly after that I didn't have to insert it a couple of times to get it to fast charging.

cause it works perfectly with me on both wireless charger and wire charger.

Hey guys i have s6 edge plus when i plug my charger it says cable charging not fast charging so i plug and remove it many times to say fast and it says fast charging but it charge very slow and status for example 70% and when i restart it change to 99% and fast charging ??? Is it the cable iŕ what?????

i dont know about the duos but updates are always for the good reason.

Great phone, easy to use, never freeze or blocked, amazing screen, very fast response with five or more aplications open... the battery support strong use ... and fast charge is very good...I love it !!!

This beast is a complete smartphone in all aspects, brilliant screen resolution, great sound quality, superb camera (I hardly use flash light) crisp and clear images both indoor/outdoors beats the crap out of any I phone series out there, speed is blazing fast, call quality is superb what else do you want in a smartphone ? S6 edge plus is a complete powerhouse.

The Always-on display in S7/S7... morethx bro for your support i installed it for 1 min tried it and uninstalled it immediately i didnt like it i noticed that the screen is not enough bright and i scared if anything could happen to the screen
