"The port does have MHL 3.0 functionality, which allows it to output 2160p video at 30fps, coincidentally the top mode for the camera. The port also supports USB HID devices, like a keyboard and a mouse."
got mine and the cons is: USB back to 2.0 and no support for USB-OTG and MHL (HDMI) !!, air gestures not supported, very easy scratch heart beat sensor (poor plastic), getting hot very quick under load, and battery life is poor (12-hours normal use), this phone is more-less is prototype.

I am using iphone 5 and samsung s4 mini.
Want to upgrade to S6 Edge with 128 GB. I need your frank opinions on the battery of the phone.
After the iOS 8 upgrade my apple battery life sucks. Need minimum 3 -4 charges per day. This is after all background app fresh is off and I don't use cellular data fonly whatsapp and Bbm. Rest all apps on wifi only.
Options are wait for next iphone 6 s or upgrade to samsung s6 edge. Been reading all the reviews and confused what to do.???
Am heavy user of the phone. Work and whatsapp. Whatsapp consumes almost 47% of my battery.
it is not good phone if compared with price as well as its applications and functions. it is not such a gazette as desired by the market.
[deleted post]Another one talking to himself. Don't you have a "decent" phone to play with instead?

I bought the Samsung Galaxy 6 edge about 10 days ago. It's a beautiful phone but I discovered that the auto rotate
does not function. It's only permanently on portrait position. Can someone tell me whether there is a solution to this.

Guys Why is it creeping at last n daily charts when vanilla S6 is first. People have lost interest in first month, it's was a masterpiece and most expensive, gives jitters down my spine. By 3rd Qtr it wud be available in emerald ad charcoal be anonymous. That's why have patience which we all don't have. 850 $ is high price to pay. In future I promise to change my cell when next model is launched. Software plus price both be minimum.
I've had the S6 Edge for about a week now after upgrading from the S5.
So far I've had no issues at all with the handset or the running of the system.
Its a lot faster than my S5 was and so far (touch wood) I've had no instances of it overheating either.
The only downside i have seen (and i'm clutching at straws here really) is that there is occasional glare on the screen when using it in bright conditions (a well lit room, outside or in the car). This is obviously due to the curved edges.
Just need some updates relating to the usage of the edge screen - at present its only use for me is a clock whilst i am sleeping.
Other than that, its a great handset and i would definitely recommend it.
