Joel M, 11 Dec 2015Functionality of the phone is up to par. But the edge feature is more of a burden than boon. ... moreStandard S6 looks so boring like any other Samsung phone. A Toyota is more practical than a Ferrari, but everybody prefer a Ferrari.
David, 04 Dec 2015Such an expensive piece of equipment with a non replaceable battery. Batteries simply dont las... moreIT is simple. If u want this piece until the battery is too old, u can take this to a specialized guys and he will replace the battery. Is not like at regular old phones, to remove the back cover and change, is connected by wire. The battery can be replaced after 3-4 years if it's not in good shape :)
Functionality of the phone is up to par. But the edge feature is more of a burden than boon. It's impossible to find a case for this phone. Also if you break the glass is super expensive to get fixed because the LCD must also be changed because of the curved edge. Save yourself the headache and get the s6 without the edge.
JLOVE, 09 Dec 2015Does this phone have a flashlight?Yes..you have to get it from play store
In Samsung s6 edge
In contacts there is only one option of contact name can share but not have a share contact information as example in samsung alpha etc
In messaging sms can only send to recipient contacts list but we can't see a seperatly contacts list, favourite list ,recent call log list
If it is updated this facility it is most primary useful and basic
As example these options are already in all Samsung models like alpha etc
Slinky, 08 Dec 2015im interested in this phone and in Z5 but ive read here that this phone has a lot of problems ... moreIt's only really hot for the first few minutes from unboxing. Mine is the 64GB and the only problem I have is that the screen brightness adjusts when auto adjustment is off... Hoping Samsung fixes this issue in the 6.0 update.
Hi guys and girls, I have a s6 edge and I very unhappy with it. For me, Samsung is the phone of choice but after buying the s6 I dont know anymore. It droppes the call every time no matter what, it heats up so much I cannot carry it in my pocket. I have switched all the background apps off and still thr same problem. Samsung told me to stick it out because I bought it cash, brand new a month ago.
Ill suggest that you look for another phone.
sushma, 04 Dec 2015today is the first time i started using my phone. Took 2-3 pics and my phone starting heating.... moreThat is normal. As you had said, you use it for the first time. Meaning it must had been switch off. While not turn on, room temperature cool the phone so it is very likely to be cooler than it supposed to be. If it is on standby mode in room temperature it should be slightly warmer than it was switch off. When you start using it the tempearature of the phone goes up drastically. The processor inside is just warming up the system in order to work. The same way how ice melt drastically after taken out of the fridge and left out in the heat. It is usually the top-most part at the back that felt the warmest because that is where the processor located. Not to mention glass get warmer faster than plastic. My advice, get a case. It will cools down as fast as it heats up so, don't worry about it. To balance the temperature keep it close to your body especially during winter. Glass is very fragile in cool weather. If it crack, blame the weather. Switching from cool to hot room made that happen. Be careful.
im interested in this phone and in Z5 but ive read here that this phone has a lot of problems being one of them, heating problems which kinda made go more into z5 but im still in doubt which one i should pick so.. can u guys help me?
does this phone overheat? does it get too hot?

This... moreHi, Im planning to get this one or the regular S6 - but im concerned if the edge part is prone to accidental swiping due to the curved side - i dont have small hands but i dont have big hands either - and when i use a 5.1", its already hard for me to use one hand and reach the other side of screen - does the curve side does that always? i really like the curve design though ---
