2k screen omitted...GOOD!!! 1080p is good enough.
but plz don't omit OIS & card slot since 32gb is low (only around 23-24 gb available)
this will benchmark better than S6/ S6 edge

Other specs are downgraded for the sake of price competitiveness. They are releasing this with Galaxy Note 5 so the price need to be lower than the Note. It used to be rumored to be a less powerful galaxy s6 edge with snapdragon 615.

The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will reportedly arrive with a 5.67-inch Super AMOLED display with QHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels). Furthermore, it could house a Snapdragon 808 processor, 16 MP main camera (including OIS and 4K video recording) as well as a 5 MP front camera.

When the S6 Plus will be released it will probably cost more than the Note 4 which for the most part has better specs.
Bigger screen
Better resolution
Will already have 5.1.1 as opposed to 5.02.
Will have OIS.
3 vs 2 ram.
and I'm sure I could find more.

Why on earth would Samsung release a "plus" version when the only better thing is probably the bigger screen (but 1080p!) These leaks must be trolling us and an S6 mini with those specs with a smaller screen would be right.
And also the S5 neo with a Exynos 7850 SoC? A renewed device, more powerful than it's successor, what the potatoes... Maybe that's the real S6 plus.
I don't get why Samsung would release 2 phablets. Imo they should just stick with the previous lineup; Note, S6 LTE-A, Normal S6 and a Mini etc.

A fancier name with half the spec? I smell bluff. I mean, come on. what crazy company would step on the name of their great product (the "S6" that is) then put in a "plus" then lower down their specs? If this thing materialize then the manufacturer must have gone crazy.

they should have added atleast 2 or more clusters of the power vr G62000

Why on earth Samsung would you make a plus version with 1GB less ram and not use the Exynos chip in the S6?
I have always liked Samsung but seriously what are you thinking or is this just a penny pinching move.
Whatever the reason you have just let yourselves down.
You need to start looking at what people want not what you want people to have as it's not up to you.
