Only, when you own a S7 or S8 can you appreciate these adanced software options. The S8 dedicated Bixby button is the future and in approx 5/6 years phones will be almost 100% voice commands only. Plus, if you prefer google assist, then you can change/use it on the Bixby button. Huawei flagship phones also now have a dedicated assistant button.
The amazing near bezel less design is also the future, giving a larger screen with nearly the same size device. Plus the amazing new infinity Amoled display. There are still some ugly branded phones available with giant bezels, but they will slowly disapear as the public wants bigger screens, but not bigger phones. Sony Xperia phones are a typical example with the same ugly design for 5 years with giant bezels and same limited display of 5 years.

The very late ... moreThe S7 has a smart manager/device maintenance feature plus various power saving and performance modes built on top of stock Android. It optimizes itself automatically with very little to no user interference and provides options for gaining better performance or battery life. The S7 has tons of features not found on stock Android, features that stock Android will only be getting after a couple of years or probably never. That's why Samsung's last year flagship devices are ahead of the competition and can rival and even beat this year's flagships from other manufacturers. The only thing that's better than the S7 is the S8. And yet 95 percent of the new features of the S8 can be installed on the S7. All of the APKs of S8 including the new launcher, widgets, Bixby, Always On Display layouts, and stock S8 apps are out now and can be installed on the S7. There is really no point buying an expensive 2017 flagship unless you want a larger and taller display. You can buy the S7 or S7 edge for a bargain and get 95 percent of the features of the S8.
AnonD-661619, 14 Apr 2017Why would you want high graphics?because it shows the level of performance

The phone is good....until it just STOPS.
This is the second time my S7 has shut itself of and not restarted, wont register that a charger is plugged into it, and even pressing the power button wont turn it back on. This time it had 88% battery before it shut itself off.
It randomly freezes, it randomly restarts itself, and I have had the thing only 8 months.
A lovely glass sandwich, that sports amazing black levels, that are so dark, they have to be seen to be believed! No other display comes close, so if you're after a phone, with a jawdropping display, even at 720 H.D. resolution on Nougat? then this is the phone to get!

Ive been using s7 since January. Superb battery and fast performance. I didnt update it yet coz Ive read so many negatve about the Nougat.
You need to let the phone optimize itself for a week or two after updating to Nougat. There are a lot of background activities going on at that point because the phone is still learning your usage pattern. The battery life will increase after that period. But you can always kill or put the apps you don't use to sleep in the Battery tab in Device maintenance so they don't consume battery. You also have to familiarize yourself with the new Performance modes and Power Saving modes built into the system. They have options to greatly enhance your performance or battery life. I'm running Nougat for 1 and a half months now and I have zero issues at all. I'm getting more than 6 hours SOT and 4+ hours of 4G browsing on my S7. Millions have already updated their S7 to Nougat and only a few are complaining. The S7 is so much better on Nougat than on Marshmallow and miles ahead of the Sony Xperia XZ.
