About Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
1) I have to reboot the phone a couple times a day, because it sometimes fails to "wake up", especially after a recharge. Reboots are wasting valuable time.
2) The major issue I have is that data, in particular photos, get corrupted at a rate of 1 file per day. This can be avoided by backing up your data on a daily basis! Bottom line: data on the microSD card within the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is not safe! I can hear a Samsung spokesperson pointing at an incompatible app. Errors such as 0x80071AC3, occur during copying, and that has never occurred on my previous phones. Corrupted data prevents you from copying your photo folders. Once a corrupted file is encountered, file copying stops, and you have to figure out where that corrupted file is located. Deleting corrupt files on the microSD card has not always worked. Running the DiskCheck application didn't fix the problem either. The only option left is formatting.
3) While playing games, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge either slows down considerably, or stops working altogether. Very irritating!
bond, 07 Nov 2016S7 users, Pls help me to know is there any issue with using dual sim? Coz some of my frds r ... moreNo issues with dual sim version get exynos version I'm having it from 6 months now and perfectly working I'm just loving my s7
It's a great phone. I don't know why people say it crashes a lot,is easily scratched, that you shouldn't drop it, etc. You should have bought a rock instead. Who intentionally drops their phones and scratches them anyway?if you'e testing it, fine. But intentionally destroying it is another story.
Trever, 07 Nov 2016So you're saying that Samsung, Apple and Sony make worthless phones, what's left now?? What's ... moreLG G series. Never had a single problem with my G2! The battery lasted all day for the whole 2 years I had it. Fast, great camera, slick design, easy to use and flawless. I would definitely go back to LG after having the Samsung S7 for 6 months.
Very disappointed. Phone freezes periodically when on the charger, and needs a soft reset - so don't rely on the alarm clock to wake you up. And since the most recent update, my battery life is shit. Should have stuck with LG G series.
Phone over heats, easily cracks when accidentally sat on, finger sensor gets scratched easily, lags and hangs alot. Dont buy or your money gets wasted.
Anonymous, 10 Nov 2016Well they aint robust good lock dont drop it :DYep your right, have now ordered a clear TPU case of eBay for now as a compromise.

Went to buy the S7 but fell in love with the S6 edge+ what a gorgeous phone.
This phone is an utter disappointment..its an s6 with an sd card and waterproofing!
Superb features! (256GB EXTERNAL CARD!!! fast charging!!! largest aperture opening IP68!!!....which are really practically what we need!
Have waited nearly all year to buy a new phone I waited till they had all been released but especially new Nexus. Well after Nexus(now Pixel) was announced I was sold till the pricing come up then said "stuff that I am not paying that". So went round and round really wanting HTC 10 ,then thought about P9 and so on but like in Nokia days you always come back and at moment still Samsung.
Got this earlier today only just got it off neighbour it was delivered to them. This is such a lovely feeling device and I have not switched it on yet. I am not using a case I never do because u buy phone that looks goods so why cover it up. What should happen is these things should be robust in first place (like Nokia's are) as they are used outdoors.
Got myself a 128gb Samsung card to go with it(left other card in old device) ,it is the one on offer at Mobymemory for 32GBP,I stopped using Sandisk years ago they kept corrupting.. It will take most of today to set up but that is part of fun.It is on charge now till it is full then I will leave it 8 hrs before doing my usual discharge/charge cycle about 8 times.
