Htc10 is well built indeed but since you will probably use a cover on it for protection you wont feel that premium build in your hands. The only thing I like about htc10 is the fingerprint scanner because u dont have to press the button. Apart from that s7 is cheaper , better battery, smaller size , less bulky, waterproof, front camera EIS much better than htc10 front camera ois which is overated ( go watch youtube if u dont believe it ) , back camera much more details when cropping image to 100% , digital zoom twice more powerfull or even better , microphone much lowder, better stabillisation on back camera aswell. Htc is nice but not that nice to take it consideration over s7. No phone is perfect but s7 is close.

I'm thinking of either buying the S7 or the HTC 10. I'm looking more forward to the S7 but what keep me from buying it is the myth with Samsung phones that they stary to lag after some time. Please make me clear whether this phone suffers from this issue or is touchwiz now lag free?
Does this have an always on screen?, like glance where you see notifications?? rather than a light?
Dama McCracken, 09 Aug 2016Bro, I just bought a S7 edge and it was just awesome to use for couple a days bt unfortunately... moreWhen you say "locked" do you mean "sim-locked" or are you talking about the screen getting locked? for the second use the advice other users have given. If it's the first then well..sorry to even suggest that, but have you considered your device may have been flagged as stolen and hence it has been centrally locked? it happened to me once when I bought my S4 from what i thought was a reputable seller. The box was sealed too but the phone had really been marked as stolen! There are websites you can use to check that for a small fee. good luck!

All that problems youve listed is software related, meaning you damaged the software or was just unlucky and got a bad batch. Samsung has almost no returns...

Anonymous, 09 Aug 2016go for Iphone.s7 without any doubt. Excellent phone. I have an s6 which is very good and my wife has an ip6s which is also good. I like my s6 and can only imagine that the s7 must be even better.
I have bought the S7 flat. After 2 weeks it started crashing/ rebooting randomly about once or twice a day. It turned out to be a hardware problem as after the service centre changed the motherboard (under warranty), it is working fine for more than a month.
