Guys I am confused that in this model s7 is better r edge is better? ???
After years with iphones, i decided to expirience android with the samsung S7.. I must say that it was the right thing to do...I would defintely recommend the S7 for all IOS users who hesitate. It has a superb user experience, and a very high quallity camera!!!
BUT....be aware, the so called "scratch resistant glass" or Gorrila glass 4, is NOT a scratch resistant glass AT ALL!!!
It scratches!!! THE FIRST AND THE RIGHT THING TO DO IS TO PUT A SCREEN PROTECTOR!!!
G.Ki.G, 30 Apr 2016The fingerprint sensor on the S7 is a joke...
Somerimes I have to use it several times until ... moreTrue. The Huawei P9 has the fastest fingerprint sensor respond but with cheaper price.
Samsung S7 is cheating you.
Anonymous, 30 Apr 2016People were critisizing HTC for using the similar design again when they launched the M9. Why ... moreWhy don't we ALL just admit these things are now boring? no new design no shapes the past 5 years all we have got is a screen. That iPhone ruined designed just think of all the lovely gadgets we had before iPhone come along and ruined the lot. Design is dead till someone breaks the mould and gives us Palm Treo,Nokia E90 style devices with proper send/end buttons full D-Pad control maybe scroll wheel anything but boring slab.
Every single day tech sites report new phones.new leaks and every bloody one of them has been the same for past bloody 5-6 years. I am bored and many others are phones are just all the same bar different camera.
People were critisizing HTC for using the similar design again when they launched the M9. Why isnt anyone critisizing Samsung now for using the similiar design? Atleast HTC One m9 could easily be differenciated from the m8 but the s7 and s6 are way too similar.
In the short period I had the S7, I quite liked it, except that it had a flaw with the touchscreen that I simply could not accept: the touch sensitivity near the bottom edge of the screen is sub-standard, and taps were being missed intermittently, which was extremely frustrating. I tried five examples of the S7 in stores, and every one had the same problem. No other model I tried (including the S7 Edge) seemed to have this problem. I am in the process of exchanging the S7 for a Note 5, which I am confident I will be very happy with.
Antoo, 29 Apr 2016does the home button of S7 scratch easily ??why would it ? Did that happen on s5, s4, s3 or s5 ?? In short NO.
I like the S7 better because it just looks better. the edge has too much glare when lights hit the screen especially on the side edge and I'm kinda sketchy about the all glass on the front if I dropped it it will not have any kind of protection to keep that whole front glass from hitting the cement or something sharp like a small piece of rock and crack the screen even though it's pretty durable. So after many debate back and forth I went with the S7 instead.
The fingerprint sensor on the S7 is a joke...
Somerimes I have to use it several times until it unlocks my phone.
On my daughters much cheaper Huawei the sensor is increadibly fast!
Hello Samsung...you have missed something here!
AnonD-492431, 28 Apr 2016There is a certain level of grammar that you should learn before you can actually talk to people.Sigh...
Why is S7 more popular at 5th place and Edge at 9th?
Maybe cheaper, but curves on side on edge is class within. S6 is idendentical to S7 leaving choice restricted.Price has fallen 100$ and by end qtr further.
can you please stop with the propaganda and give us usefull comments / opinions
