ian, 23 Feb 2016quadcore??? really?? s6 has octacore already with 16mp camera. why downgrade??? #samsungNot sure about CPU change, maybe heating? but i'm actually happy with MP camera change. As we can see through Your comment it was very hard marketing decision, but in this case more does not always mean better. Too high density of pixels in camera makes more noise thus makes picture look worse. Find more info on it and You'll be suprise.

s6 has octacore already with 16mp camera. why downgrade??? #samsungI completely agree. The S6 had Samsungs custom 8-core CPU... Now the S7 has the Qualcomm 820 which has 2 less cores... And don't forget that it has that liquid cooling stuff too, so the 810 may not even overheat like in the HTC one M9.
And then come the camera... Yea... It has it's better things here and there... But it still has lost 4MP... I still have a phone in a box which has got a 4MP camera...
Anonymous, 24 Feb 2016With USB Type-C, the phone could not have IP68.Is not true! Look on Hp Elite x3 has usb-c and is dust and water resistant
ian, 23 Feb 2016quadcore??? really?? s6 has octacore already with 16mp camera. why downgrade??? #samsungplease double check.. can't you read the full spec?
Maybe ill wait for version of 30mins 100% quick charge. Lol but this phone is awesome
ian, 23 Feb 2016quadcore??? really?? s6 has octacore already with 16mp camera. why downgrade??? #samsungis that something you started on the subject. the numbers are not important to talk about performance, power and efficiency of the SOC, there are plenty of factors to worry about, no I will place here, it is to leave your job to ignorance aside. Respect to the camera, as in the photograph mp meet certain part in quality, but they are not everything, again, it is at your job to investigate that.
Unless it has innovative technology, no point in buying a "Senior S4" less RAM

s6 has octacore already with 16mp camera. why downgrade??? #samsungIts obvious. Samsung is just creating a version phone that looks like nothing and then soon afterwards the updated version will shock us all.
Guys more Megapixels simply doesn't mean a better camera, the quality is dependent on the sensors lying beneath the lens. For example, iPhone 6 had a camera of just 8MP but it was proved better than 16MP camera of s6.
Now No IR blaster, and before no fm radio, things i was very proud to have in my phone, now it is official no more samsung phones for me any more.
Anonymous, 23 Feb 2016Samsung Interface is way more beautiful and easier to navigate than so-called true Android int... moreMaybe you need something that big but you are not everybody. Speak for yourself and not for me. I have s6 and that's as big as I want. Does having a big phone make you a big man so you can show off?
RockyMtnMack, 23 Feb 2016The S7's nice but not nice enough to warrant buying it as an upgrade from my S6. I'm disappoin... moreTouchWiz is a cool UI and it gives Android a better look. Mainstream things like the dialler, phonebook and sms icons look so much better with Samsung's skin compared to stock/vanilla Android and the actual applications which these icons represent looks much nicer than stock Android.
As somebody recently said, stock Android is boring.
In my view TouchWiz livens up Android and I hope Samsung never "scrap" it.
Anonymous, 23 Feb 2016Samsung Interface is way more beautiful and easier to navigate than so-called true Android int... moreWhy would you want a phone with a 7in screen? How big are your hands? Like the amount of people which have THAT big of a hand is so low that it would literally cost more money to make then the amount sold.
Anonymous, 23 Feb 2016SO HOW COMES IT ONLY HAS A 12MP PRIMARY CAMERA!! you'd think that would have improved to atlea... moreThe only time you would need a lets say 18 megapixel camera is when you need to create REALLY REALLY large images megapixels dont matter as much as the actual camera quality.
The number of cores does not matter. More cores allow faster multitasking (like 2 apps running on the screen at once) but the power in the cores is what matters.
