Samsung Galaxy S7 - A brief review on IP68 certification.
The Pros - Most of the overall phone. The smudges on the screen and what not are pretty minimal things. Really really like(d) the phone overall, but....
The Cons - Definitely don't go about pouring champagne on it like Lil Wayne. Although it's all over websites and advertisements that it is water resistant, it still has water indicators on the phone that will void your warranty.
I've owned the phone for 4 days and the phone has gone into the pool once. Fun to do at first, everyone gasps, and you pull it out working fine. Which mine is in fact water resistant, however the lenses do not keep out the water like the other components. Condensation has made my camera inoperable, not in the sense that it's broken, but in the sense that every photo makes it look like it's in the water. And after going back to Samsung, they refused to replace the phone and said that I would have to pay to fix the faulty components in the defective device (because it was "water damaged." ha)
Long story short, just because it's water resistant, doesn't mean you should have it anywhere around water. And if you need a waterproof case on a water resistant phone, than I don't see any real reason to own this particular device.

Mir, 15 Jun 2016Hi, It might be software glitch. Backup your data and format your phone to factory settings.... moreWell I think i have the issue sorted out, I disabled Fast Cable Charging and removed the facebook and messenger app, which seems to do the trick, after which i got 30 hr battery that includes two nights of inactivity though.

Best Smartphone ever : Battery life Wooooow :o 😍
Had the Note 5 for 8 months and the iPhone 6S for 6 months before I decided to sell both and just get an S7 Duos for convenience. I must say that the S7 strikes the balance between performance, screen size, camera quality, and excellent build. I was never impressed with the camera of the 6S for me it was mediocre having owned both the S6 flat and the Note 5 and now the S7. Battery life on my SM-G930FD is excellent for I can easily last a whole day running more than 3 hours of SOT with around 40-50% battery juice left. Camera quality is outstanding especially in low light plus Samsung really upped the standard when it comes to build quality. The S7 is an excellent phone and I am very satisfied with my choice. I do not regret that I sold my Note 5 and 6S for the S7 at least now I can just worry about one phone and won't be carrying around too many gadgets daily.
