And on the latest update I've been using it for weeks but there is no overheating... If you want to revert back you can download the firmware from sammobile and then flash it...
Help phone keeps overheating, have full/wipe/reset it already but it still happens? It's probably due to recent firmware update may have bugs, so annoying!!! I may have to revert back to the preview firmware and completely disable updates!!!
Probably the worst phone that I've had recently particularly in conjunction with the Nougat operating system. It behaves totally unpredictably turning the speaker off so incoming calls don't ring, making calls without even touching the phone. Very annoying to both for myself and the person receiving the call, changing screen and text colour again without touching the phone. The phone is full of gremlins too humorous to list them all. The basic concept of a phone to make and receive calls
has been lost in the pursuit of upgrading the O/S as quickly as possible. When the phone does ring there is no way of answering as the scrreen is so cluttered. Possibly my last Android phone.

TJ, 27 Dec 2017Should I buy the S7 or A5 (2017)? The S7 is like £70 more, I think it's worth it but not... moreIf you want better camera in low light or in video recordin and slightly faster in opening games buy s7
But if you want far better battery life and usb type c and experience 8.1 who has a lot of features,a faster fingerprint scanner.
Buy a5 2017.
I'll take an S7 or S7 Egde over an 8 anytime. I still like the home button and overall body of the phone compared to the infinity display. Plus the cameras on both are virtually identical.
Akade, 27 Dec 2017oh ya i forgot the resolution btw the 2 is different anyway would you still recomend to buy s... moreYes (Recommendable). S7 Has A Very Beast Benchmark Score, Running Apps To Apps Flawlessly. You Can Also Refer To My Older Post, I Wrote Mainly Pros For S7.
I just recently got my S7 and for my experience so far so good but like what other people are saying when S7 updated to Nougat battery issue is there and I am seeing it in my phone tried all the youtube step by step to conserve battery life but still the battery drain issue is real it`s not like you use it right away and the battery dies.. by the whole day i am using the phone I find myself reaching out for my charger in the middle of the day to keep it above 70% my battery last a day when I don`t use it that much like at work when phone is actually not allowed while working. Also I don`t know if It`s just me or S7 has a screen sensitivity issue also.. sometimes it`s over sensitive sometimes it`s under sensitive.. I haven`t put on a screen protector yet maybe that will help. it`s a great phone no doubt it`s fast and fluid but sometimes you`ll encounter some lag but it`s not bad.. maybe due to a lot of bloated software included which you can actually disable when your not using it. other wise the phone is really good I would rather have S7 than A5 (2017) you`ll get more great user experience but if you want more stable kinda-ish battery? A5.

Sam, 23 Dec 2017I am also getting confused between note 5 and s7 plz suggest meNote 5 for bigger screen and stylus. S7 for expandable storage, water/dust resistant, better camera, always on display, more future updates.
