Samsung has started pushing out a new update to its Galaxy S7 and S7 edge smartphones. Currently hitting unbranded units in some European countries, the update bumps the firmware version to XXS1BPJ1 and brings along Android security patch for the month of October.
As is usually the case with OTA roll-outs, it may take some time for the update to hit your device. Meanwhile, if you feel impatient, you can manually check for the update by heading to your handset's Settings menu.
they do it on purpose, why waste their time when people will be forced to buy a new phone? but sadly they'll not only make us pay more without any reason, they're generating a lot of phone waste and stuff. they're wasting materials too :(
about updates.. just saw on gsmarena news the much much smaller mobile company motorola, already releasing android 7.0 on the much much much less popular smartphone series G4. This is how sad it is to be a samsung owner.
How's the new update guys? is there an improvement in performance especially in gaming? and how's the battery life?
