gaming performance is ridiculous on s7 edge .... it cannot even play games like Temple Run Smoothly.... GPU sucks big time on the exynos version.... seems like all reviews are paid reviews these days!!!!!
AviFibe, 03 Apr 2016Almost, samsung. Almost. Bring back the IR blaster, and give the option for pure android with... moreRight on the money. It's the bloat ware that made me change to an iphone. The irony is that even though you can customize a Galaxy due to android, it's just doesn't feel personalized with the bloat ware. Apple has less customization yet feels more personal. Samsung doesn't seem to understand this critical point.
I have had this phone for a couple of weeks now and feel I can give an opinion on how it’s going.
The battery life is great. I charge my phone every 2-3 days. Over this last weekend I charged my phone on Friday at work. Over the weekend I used the internet, streamed a bit of video through Twitch and Youtube, took a number of photos and played games. It still had 33% of the battery left on Sunday night when I plugged it in to charge.
Photos are great. I was about to complain about the quality of the photos, but I have a Samsung Clearview case on it and for some reason that impacted on the quality of the photos I’d taken previously. I removed the case to test it out and the photos look great.
The photo mode options don’t have as many as I am used to. I was looking for an action mode as I was trying to get photos of a pet that would not stay still. Auto worked well after I removed the case. It still took a couple of blurry pics before I could get a decent one.
I play Hearthstone on my phone and on my old phone it would heat up just trying to run it. On this phone after a couple of games (about 25 minutes) the phone felt just as cool as when I first picked it up.
I got caught in the rain last week and while the phone only got a little wet, it didn’t have any effect whatsoever.
The screen is beautiful and clear. Images and video look great on it. I just had a friend at work comment on how good it looks.
I have the silver phone and it does attract fingerprints. Because I use the case the fingerprints only show up on the silver border at the top and bottom of the front of the phone which doesn’t bother me.
It is an expensive phone, but I don’t regret purchasing it. That being said, I’m going to wait for it to come down in price and I will get one for my husband as he is on a plan and is not happy with his current phone.
Finally got one last week and without a shadow of a doubt, it's the best phone i have ever owned...really fluid, incredible battery, bloatware that can be removed easily, best camera on the market...i've used iphones and LG in the last 3 years, but i think i will stick to samsung from now on...iphones are ugly and boring and LG is great but battery and design lacks...
Ethan, 03 Apr 2016Is there any problem with the battery for this? how long does it last? base on experience please.I get two days use with moderate usage. S7 Edge. I don't have to look for a charger till day two I think that's pretty good.
