cess, 17 Mar 2017i have updated my s7 edge and noticed my battery drains too fast. is this normal after an update? :(OS Update should make your battery last long not reverse. I will suggest you to check the battery usage history to see what app or task is killin your battert fast. Than you have to actions to prevent it. Regards.
I am not S7 user. But got 4 galaxy devices in home including J7 Prime, On7 Pro, A5 (2016) and J Max. I checked that my J7 Prime and A5 will sure get Android 7.0.1 update. Anyway some users are saying 7 drains battery fast. In past I have also upgraded my device from KitKat to Lollipo and Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. So, I am sharing my experience. After updating the OS, you should immediately visit playstore and update the apps if available. Than check battery usage to see what app or task is draining the battery. If it is essential than tweak the battery usage setting for the app. But if it non essential than remove the app. Last but not least is always clean your cache regularly by going to boot menu. A full cache will slow your device and use more battery. I am sure these steps will solve battery drainage issue. If not than do a "Factory Reset" after backing up all your data and memory card. This will virtually make your device new by removing any old residual files left by old OS. Thanks for reading. Regards.

multitasking work smoothly, because the RAM technology LPDDR4 keeps all programs still works on the background without reboot again when open it
we can't say something about the display for Galaxy S7 very" brilliant! , it will be no point if compared with 4k display like Xperia Z5 with IPS-LCD display
