Anonymous, 11 Jan 2020Is this code do any harm to the battery? i am just askingThe code itself wont do any harm to the battery. When you enter the code you will recieve information in relation to the battery, its ONLY when and if you select the 'quick start' option at the bottom of the screen that you could make changes.
The truth is, I dont know exactly what it does and there is conflicting information as to exacly what it does, so for that reason I can't say whether you should press the option 'quick start' .... but what I can tell you, is that simply dialling the code will not cause any harm to the battery, as i said it will give you info relating to the battery.
I did find this from someone that claimed that they had worked for Samsung and that pressing the 'quick start' option will help you with calibration when following all of their instructions but it's all bit vague for my liking.

I had an issue where the battery was draining extremely fast. The battery would go from 20% down to 0 in a couple of minutes.
This is what I found and tried and it did rectify the problem.
1) Discharge your phone fully until it turns itself off.
2) Try Turning it on again and let it turn itself off. (It may not turn on but that's ok, you are just ensuring that there is no charge left in the battery)
3) Plug your phone into a charger and, without turning it on, let it charge until the on-screen or LED indicator says 100 percent.
4) Unplug your charger.
5) Turn your phone on.
Then I repeated the above process again.

But to say I used to get 8 hours and now I'm getting 6 hours doesn't help really without analysing your usage daily (and monitoring your network signal from day to day) as most of us dont use our phones in exactly the same way each day and conditions change also, rarely are conditions exactly the same (E.g Network, use of Wifi or mobile data, Downloads in the background via Synching etc) If you are on the move throughout the day then this will also affect the battery too......the list is endless so it's very hard to determine the root cause....and it could be natural degradion of the battery in the end but I would start with asking yourself What's going on in the background? Am I doing anything differently? (E.g Using new apps, playing games for longer?) Is there an Issue with my network signal? Or am I constantly on the move with Wifi on? How old is the battery, could that be the cause? ..... just keep eliminating any possible cause.

Fallae , 07 Jan 2020Pls I need genuine opinion I want to get a Samsung phone,IÂ’m an iPhone user IÂ’m considering ... moreDo not buy Samsung mid range devices they ain't worth your money. I bought the A50 & sold it within a week as it had WiFi connectivity issues & the so called triple cameras take horrible pics, you can clearly see the distortion when you zoom in also the ultra wide lens is almost unusable in any lighting conditions the corners are washed out & it doesn't have auto shape correction feature. If you are torn between these two then I would suggest you to get the S8+ it's single camera destroys the triple cameras on the A50.
Pls I need genuine opinion I want to get a Samsung phone,IÂ’m an iPhone user IÂ’m considering the s8 + or the A50 ,camera is my main issue with one having a single module and the other three ...any help pls thanks
Biren, 06 Jan 2020I have consult already with nearest service center and changed my sim too but problem is same ... moreA last solution you may want to consider is to look into rooting the phone and install new firmware suitable that matches the country you are located in. BEWARE THOUGH - If you are within the warranty period then this will void warranty as Knox will be tripped.
Anonymous, 16 Nov 2019Contact your service provider this is not phone's fault it is your service provider's faultI have consult already with nearest service center and changed my sim too but problem is same like previous and they said that this problem arises because of this phone came from foregin country. And while i want to update my phone, "your current software version isn't supported, visit a service center" is display on the screen. Can SOFTWARE be the problem for network problem issue. IF then What is the solution? Plz give me proper solution.
