James , 28 Mar 2018Why would it be cheaper to buy it new? Surely refurbished ones are preowned? That'd make it ch... moreCheaper is not always cheaper long term though. For example the battery may pack in and you have to replace it. It's also highly unlikely that you will be covered by the same length of warranty (which also.has a high value) or the warranty does not give you as much cover as the original Samsung warranty would of, which may in turn lead to further unforseen outlays in the future.

Sorry if I'm stating the obvious, my intention is not to patronise:)

Personally I see a small performance though admittedly it may all in my head. The good thing is I have certainly not seen a drop.in performance or battery life.

I bought a refurbished S8 it was as good as new but the battery life was horrible also the phone used to shut down while installing large apps. After all it's up to you decide whether to go for a used phone or a new one, money matters and always will be.

Slash89, 26 Mar 2018Good!! Refurbished phones are not trustworthy so it's better to save money and buy a new one.Why would it be cheaper to buy it new? Surely refurbished ones are preowned? That'd make it cheaper, surely. This may be a bad example, but I could get a refurbished Samsung S6 for £130 but new it'd be more.

putraws, 24 Mar 2018I went to Mall and saw this priced at $467 used device. Is it a great deal?I bought a used S8 (not plus) few weeks back at a great price and it was as good as new without any scratches along with the box and all the accessories but the main problem was it's battery which was horrendous couldn't even hold upto a day with minimal usage. Finally I got rid of it and bought a brand new S8 Plus. Now I don't trust refurbished phones anymore no matter how low their prices are.

Anonymous, 25 Mar 2018If that is for a new S8 Plus that's a great price. Certainly is. WoW when I think that I paid ... moreSorry, noticed you said it was for a 'used' device........ I say still a good price BUT you are buying blind.

I would some kind of warranty on it, say 6 months at least and don't know how many times it's been charged, did a.very heavy user own the phone before or has the battery been allowed to drain completely time.and time again, that kind of thing..

Always buyer beware when buying used BUT if it's a reputable shop and they give some kind of guarantee just in case you run into problems with it shortly after buying. ..... then I dont see why not.

After a year of use this thing is still as good as when I first got it, in fact imo even better with recent Oreo update a couple of weeks ago.If you are buying the S8 Plus then you have chosen a good time to buy and at that kind of price Wow.

The worst phone I've ever had in the sense that dropping it once on the floor caused some weird crack _through_ the ultra hyper gorilla glass, that long press only works on upper part of the screen.

mune, 19 Mar 2018It is not fully confirmed, but much rumors and leaks it would be called galaxy X. How much wei... moreWell, if I was in marketing I'd go for it! It's a winner, cheeky name and raises a little smile, will capture people's attention. Easy to use in a marketing campaign. IF done correctly. So I say why not.

Perhaps they should let the public to decide the name, yeah, draw up a shortlist............... LET THE PEOPLE DECIDE!

ok, maybe not such a great idea.
