Anonymous, 22 May 2017Wrong. Mine fast charges...even with the USB connector!! #S8PlusOfcourse the phone 'fastcharges' that is not in dispute. But what is a 'fastcharge?.......truly?
The battery on the Samsung S6 for example would 'fastcharge' to 100% in a shorter period of time compared to the S8 Plus! Both phones that have the ability to fastcharge, however they would not take the exactly the same amount of time to charge from 0% -100%.
Also please note, that individuals can also have a preconceived opinion/idea as to what is a reasonable amount of time to charge a battery. Ask two individuals exactly the same question and you may find yourself listening to completely different answers.
Joe might think that an hour and a half is a very long time to charge a phone from 0%-100% but Bill might think "OMG that's super fast!" .........Only when we (or Joe or Bill) consult the instruction manual or research perhaps by visiting reputable, knowledgeable websites, forums etc do we or they actually discover if indeed one and a half hours is either a long or short time for the task at hand* it could turn out that an hour and a half is average and that both Joe and Bill were both incorrect in their evaluation of what is considered either a long time or super fast!
* task at hand in this case is to charge a battery contained within the Samsung S8 Plus.

bunny, 20 May 2017My phone very slow charging .....s8 plus As far as I'm aware and from what I have read on other forums, this is quite normal. I'm led to believe that the phone will not 'fast charge if the phone is in use, so if you are like me and pick your phone up to have a wee browse or whatever, this will have an impact on the length of time the battery takes to charge!
Also note that the battery in your S8 Plus is possibly larger in capacity to the phone you used before taking ownership of your new S8 Plus. So now the charging time is a bit longer than you were used to on your last phone, because the capacity of the S8 Plus is bigger (3500) and as a result will take longer to charge.
You could also have a faulty battery though!
so base on the test on s8 or s8 plus ..should i buy s8 or s8 plus or one plus3t ? for now im using vivo v5 & oppo r9s
I am from India I too owned S8+. the same problem I too encounter that Sim tray is not fit into the phone properly. it is very very tough to take out and insert. I have fear that it may break at anytime. I have a doubt about Samsung flagship S8+ build qualityÂ… Samsung has give us proper solution. because in India its cost 65,000/-.Its higher than other region like US, UAE and so onÂ… it is simple or easy spend on S8+ with faultyÂ…
If Anyone think S8 Plus have Worst Battery life more than S7 edge, No.. S8 Plus have better Battery life More than S7 edge..
