Waneida85, 18 Oct 2017Hai...i want to ask you...i want to buy HP...So i dont no buy HP s8+ Or note 8...Who Cant help... moreGo for Note8. But if don't mind about dual camera & S Pen, go for S8+ with 6GB RAM. Or 4GB RAM if you can't find 6GB variant cuz seems very hard to find 6GB variant in Malaysia (I just look at your name and comments and I assumed that you're Malaysian :-)) (Am I right?)

Kcar, 18 Oct 2017yes fact charge will damage battery only use when needNothing like that, it's overcharging not fast charging that kills the battery. I've used the S6 edge plus for a year with fast charging and the battery remained great same goes with my S7 too. I immediately unplug my phone the moment it reaches 100% also I never charge my phones overnight.

It is only advisable to utilize fast charging when you're not going to use your phone while charging as it may heat up your battery which would latter affect its life. Normal charging, on the other hand, can somehow withstand charging while doing some normal browsing with a very minimal effect on its performance.

Many of the advise out there seem to contradict one another, I've also heard through these forums and whilst reading many other articles on best charging practice that it is also not advised to keep the charger plugged in when the charge reaches 100%.
I would be grateful if you could help as you seem to be fully confident in your assertions. Can you give sources please?
Thanks and appreciated :)
