just wondering if anyone knows if you use the dual sim is the 2nd sim only 2g or can you use a 3g and 4g ?
All guys, battling over battery, performance and other bla, bla, bla! I purpose a cellular be made disposable, for two to three years, then waist paper basket. Buy then technology would have advanced. Still have Nokia N95 12 years old model, nothing wrong, but works too slow. No body wants it as a gift even. Ultimately basket. Disposable 2-3years would reduce cost, and every body would by default have to buy a new one, anyhow.
Can someone tell me whether it supports IR Blaster which means works as remote function

if you can prove to me with scientific evidence that the battery sucks, i will throw my phone into a drain.
Anonymous, 29 Jul 2017And you believe him ... smh.Believe ..Ummm... unless I see anything fully and scientifically tested and indepently veified ..... then its still up for debate
Its such a competitive market to accept everything as gospel would be naive, there's a lot of spin going on....... much spiel.
Pinch n salt.
Dont put wrong comments about galaxy S8+ i am using since 2 months still battery and perfoance is like new phone am loving it just check before buying and dont go for refurb or clone copies best model is G955Fd am using i love it
Anonymous, 29 Jul 2017Any proven to support your words? Here's a couple of places that I read about it.
"After two years of use, Samsung R&D boss Oh Boo-keun told us the Galaxy S8 should still hold 95 percent of its charge"
"Samsung claims every Galaxy S8 (and Galaxy S8 Plus) battery will degrade only 5% on its first year compared to 20% with the Galaxy S7."
Anonymous, 28 Jul 2017It will shortened the battery lifespan in year later.Correct me if I'm wrong but the Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus's battery will degrade only 5% on its first year compared to 20% with the Galaxy S7?
KainaazB, 28 Jul 2017The phone isn't bad but the battery sucks. The 3300Mah battery of my J7 Prime is far better th... moreWell I'm going to disagree with you and your friend and say the S8 Plus battery does not "suck"
I am finding the amount of time I'm getting with the S8's battery is fantastic, I would be really dissapointed if I only got 7 1/2 hours of SOT, I really would and I more often than that get even more than that.... I play games the lot....
I am perhaps easily pleased but 7 1/2 and more of SOT in a single day to above what I expected.
Ok, what phone with the equivalent specs of the S8 Plus would you recommend that will give you the battery life you are looking for?
KainaazB, 28 Jul 2017The phone isn't bad but the battery sucks. The 3300Mah battery of my J7 Prime is far better th... moreare you nuts? You J7 Prime has a 1080p screen, but the S8+ has a 1440p screen. S8+ is bound to give less battery backup. Why complain about that? O__o
The phone isn't bad but the battery sucks. The 3300Mah battery of my J7 Prime is far better than the 3500Mah of my S8+. I used both phones doing the same work for the same amount of time and the battery of the S8+ drained way faster. Both cell phones were used at 50% display light. I did not use either phone at 100% display. Makes me wonder how fast the S8+ battery would have drained had i used it at full display power. Yes, battery of the S8+ is indeed very disappointing!!
Btw, my friend bought a S8, he is facing the same issue. Samsung seriously needs to up their game instead of taking their customers for granted.
As announced for N8 256 GB Internal announced for internal and Chinese Markets. Why not for S8+ now!
I have found thast this and the regular s8 have been a masterpiece of phone technology, idk why ppl are complaionign so much about the phones charging issues, most say when they use the phone while charging the batery doesnt go up.......ofc it doesnt go up. why would it go up when you are using it while it charges, in fact you are damaging the phone when you do this. so overall the phone is great, haters gonna hate.
salvadore, 25 Jul 2017I already use comparison tool, but i am a detail person so i also need to ask a user how in rea... moreThank you for getting back to me, its a shame that you haven't found the ideal phone you are looking for and I don't want to get all fan boy on you and start defending the S8 Plus as if I was personally insulted, picking a phone is an individual choice and what suits one person may not suit another.
I'm not the ideal person to ask, like many people I have limited amount of real hands on experience with each flagship model to give you a fair and balanced recommendation.
The review section on this web site is a good starting place and they do a good few comparisons and match phones against each other. Then there are the obvious places such as you tube and so on, but I'm sure you are aware of them.
Whilst you were in the shop looking at the S8 Plus did you ask to look at any of the other phones on the market and get a feel for them, because that's a good way of perhaps narrowing down your search.
This is only my opinion and there are great people about on these forums and other that will try and put their biased views aside and give you some really constructive advise, personally I would go to a more general mobile forum rather than a specific mobile phones forum to get a wider variety of views and beware of the fan boy's out there, they will say there phone is the greatest regardless.
If I'm completely honest I thought you were one of those and please don't take offence, just thought you were saying your phone isn't any good I'm finding another brand and could any S8 Plus owners tell me what other manufacturers flag ship model should I pick above yours. It's just you tend to see that kind of thing many many times and gets a bit boring after a while, its like being back at school.
I really wish you well in your search, and would be great to hear from you when you finally get your hands on the phone that you have been looking for.
Until then I will say take care and good luck :)
