Friends, my GS8+ have heating issues(specially using cam). Does anyone facing same issue?
Texas mom, 07 May 2017Do not buy this phone thinking it's durable (like they advertise). Bought this for my 18 year... moreI agree ,but You try not to use the mini comp/ Smart phone of any brand/ models as a durable devices bcz its simply fragile and bware if using them, I think.neverthaless the N5 is still being a better one😊😍😊😊😊😊
Do not buy this phone thinking it's durable (like they advertise). Bought this for my 18 year old daughter for graduation (after the battery in her Galaxy S6 overheated and fried the phone). Yesterday she barely dropped for the first time (I witnessed it). The upper right corner hit the ground and it landed on its back. Picked it up to find a cracked screen in four different places. This was all while it was in an OtterBox case. They call this phone durable. WTF??? My sons and I have dropped our iPhones (5, 6, 7 you name it) a million times and much harder than that and never once cracked a screen. She is on her third Galaxy and each of them had quality issues. Yet she is always drawn to the hype behind them. The issue with her S6 was definitely a safety issue as the phone was too hot to even touch when the battery over heated. I guess I should have drawn the line there and the joke is on me for giving Samsung one more shot. The Galaxy S8 is an incredible phone technology wise, but the quality leaves a lot to be desired (and then some) and certainly not worth the cost.
Akloo, 07 May 2017Cheap popularity, nothing extra innovative than S7 Edge, but if you have money to throw around... moreS7 edge is good. But it's having problems for the fingerprint scanner. It will get scratched easily and paint will be gone.. I am currently using it. Sadly this does not cover under warranty. Then there's 10 nm process that's a huge improvement from s7 edge. The less the "nm" the best the performance and lower the power consumption.
'Awesome phone' just one word description.. hold it in your hand, use it and then comment....
Cheap popularity, nothing extra innovative than S7 Edge, but if you have money to throw around then even go for gold plated one. Guys Note 8would be far better in 836 and bit flatter. Same idiotic price, but new colors also n short supply. Black and grey only available, die hards may be suicide. Rest wait till 3rd Qtr and get for 500$,I bet. Nothing extra appealing or 4k display. That's it!
Frnds, i hav full charge on mrng. But at evng it bcomes 51%. I noticed skme times it becomes heating... Is it normal??
Over here it says Quick Charge 2.0.on google it says Quick Charge 4.0.so which for the Exynos version?
I got my Galaxy S8 plus today.. Nice phone. But after inserting sim card, I feel heating. They told me it was activating 4g.
Once you got so using the Samsung home button on the phone and not on the screen, you find hard to use at First on the S8+,screen amazing but it's hard to set the correct resolution so you do not end up draining the battery ,thought Samsung would have made fast charging on the phone a lot quicker but they wouldn't have wanting to go through another battery saga like they did with the Note 7,wish a little home button at the bottom of the phone instead of pressing the screen as glass is a fingerprint magnet
Today i got my s8+, no red tint and wireless charger charging, got insurance either. So far no issue. I am very pleased. I give score 9.9. Indonesia here
Got an S8+. Just a month before this phone was released I considered the S7 edge. The S8+ is way better in design and display. The last Samsung phone of mine was the Galaxy Note 3. So.. a pretty big step up. Love it!
Tony, 04 May 2017Hello Guys, i am very much confused in between S8+ and S8, actually S8+ looks larger where S8 ... moreI have the same questions.. But I know if things are smaller then it is more mobile! S8 with one hand control will more comfortable. Do you agree?
After using the S8+ for a while. I can say that the screen gets scratched very easily. I am OCD to my gadgets. And i noticed a scratch on the bottom left corner of the screen. So i am planning to get a tempered glass by Nillkin to cover it up.
PKM1, 05 May 2017Look s8 costs around Rs 58k and 8+costs Rs 64k.So if budget is not a problem with you go get ... moreIt depends on what field work you do. I have an S7 and because of the curved screen it's hard to try to protect the screen from damaging. I work also outside and every time I need to take the phone out of the pocket in ordered to carry out the work and try to find a safe place to not smash it but also to have it closer to be available when rings.
So the size doesn't really matter as long as you can afford it and proceed something similar when you work.
