You can triple tap the home button or swipe your finger from any bottom corner to make the phone usable in one hand. LOL, it's been there since Note 4 and very useful feature.
There is a thing called "User Guide", which is given along the device (or you can download it). Why don't you go through it before making such stupid comments? At least read the review of GSMArena, they have described it in the software section of the review. Can people be THAT lazy? Really?
Take care. Ciao...

Nobody, 30 Apr 2017I love Samsung products. However, I do have to point out that the wireless charger is quite po... moreDude, don't take it otherwise, but did you ever use a wireless charger? I don't think so.
First of all, you don't "dock" a phone there, you "place" it over. Docking means connecting, placing means just putting it there. There is a great difference.
Secondly, you can work on a wireless charger the same way you can on a table. It's easy. And the new charger can be flat or tilted.
Thirdly, if you want to carry it over, then there is no other way than a powerbank. You can't have it all, you know. Unless you want something that will charge you whenever you are in the room (which, I think Apple is trying to make. If others do it before them, it'll become just another gimmick).
So, my friend, like you I used to think wireless charger is not good. What I can tell you is that it is not "necessary", but can ease your life if you have one. Just like your smartwatch, it helps you along but you won't certainly die if you don't have one.
Take care. Ciao...

Please, I'm still waiting for what you're gonna say to back up your comments on S8 being inferior to iPhone. I wish I could show you the video of Tailosiv Tech, who is an iFan, btw, and described perfectly where Samsung has the edge over Apple and where it falls behind - the same things I wanted to tell you guys.
Anyway, I should stop here, else you'll start crying on how I reply on your comment more than you do. Instead of looking into that, try to understand what I'm saying and correct me if I'm wrong (which you won't be able to do as you're using an iPhone just because everyone says it's good, not because of it's other features).
Take care. Ciao...
'Tis the only word that I can say the moment that I saw this phone. How much would it be here in the Philippines? hmm....

Maybe for your case, you should buy that powerbank of yours and a wireless charging pad and carry them around linked together just to charge your S8 (or any supported device) "while on the go".

When I was young, my dad bought a VCR wit... moreI love Samsung products. However, I do have to point out that the wireless charger is quite pointless to be honest. The whole point of it being that you can charge your phone on the go anywhere you are in the house. What I'm trying to say here is that the only benefit of the 'wireless' charger is that you don't have to connect the wire to you phone. You still have to dock your phone and can't use it in the mean time. It would've at least been satisfactory if it was more of a wireless power-bank, which you can carry around anywhere and charge your phone when you need to. Even with the wireless charger you have look for power sockets. And your IR sensor comparison isn't quite valid if you think about it. The remote controller works from wherever you are standing, you don't have to take the remote and make contact with the IR sensor to make it work (it would still be 'wireless'). I hope you get what I am saying.
I would just like to point out that I am not bashing any company or product. I just felt like you comment wasn't quite accurate so just pointed that out. Yes, samsung is obviously far better than apple either way :P
Can somebody shed light on everyday usage of this phone,,,like battery life,, speed,, battery life with 3g/4g data always on.,,build quality.
I think this is a user opinion section (about the phone)..
AnonD-39079, 30 Apr 2017Dear Demetri, did you even read what you wrote? I don't think so. How lame is it? If S8 is so ... moreI agree. I have held the s8 in my own hands and its easily one of the phones with the best in-hand feel to it. No sharp edges and very smooth to the palm. I can tell you that that guy is most likely lying, unless if he has reaaaally big hands. The edges of the screen are also now built in a way that doesnt directly touch tour palm.
Unbiased, 29 Apr 2017Before Commenting here, please assume most of the users who post in favour of samsung compared... moreJust remembered another example for you, my friend.
When I was young, my dad bought a VCR with remote control. Now, that was in the 80's. At that time, the controller needed to be connected with a 25ft long cable with the VCR. The benefit was that you could control it from a distance.
In late 90's I started seeing pure remote controls with IR control. These controllers didn't have any wires. I guess you don't know how they work. The remote sends signal via IR to the sensor, which is connected in the device with wire.
So, by your definition, we shouldn't call them wireless remotes as the wire connects the sensors in the device, right? Really? (Surprised emo here)
Well, a wireless charger works the same way. The charger is connected through the wire while the phone gets thw benefit of being wireless. If that's not called wireless, what is? Are you sure you haven't been drinking lately? I think you're drunk and can't think straight. Please, please, please, I urge you to read your comments before hitting the "submit" button. You guys are getting so jealous of S8 and S8+ that you're commenting gibberish and none of them are making any sense to me.
I'm requesting you once again, please, do some research and your constructive criticisms are most welcome. Please wake up, grow up and smile as much as you can. Cause I'm fed up with your jealousy. Ciao...

I am from India and I find its only good looking so I skip the s8 and waiting for real review review of xzp from a real user not a fanboy.
Demetri, 28 Apr 2017I bought this phone and i have to say I regret buying it, how am I supposed to hold the phone ... moreDear Demetri, did you even read what you wrote? I don't think so. How lame is it? If S8 is so lame to hold on, why did you buy it in the first place? Now, now, now, don't tell me you didn't get a chance to hold it before you buy it. That's a lie my friend. Even a country like Bangladesh has demo units available. By your name I guess you are from Russia or countries beside Russia. That makes me believe that you never bought this device, just here to put S8 down. I did a video on how a person just in front of me held the S8 in her hand and fell in love with it and did the pre-booking. I did the same. Even die-hard iFans are saying "if there is one thing great about the S8 & S8+, this is the feel on your hand". So please, get your lines straight before you even start lieing. LOL.
Those of you who are looking forward to buy this phone, just go and check in your nearest shops. Have some time with it. Nobody will tell you anything if you spend 10-15 minutes with it. I spent around an hour before I decided to go for the pre-booking. My phone is hopefully coming on 8th May and then I'll be able to tell you hands on reviews. Till then, stay away from these trolls.
And, btw, my reviews will be 100% genuine. I have already talked about the fingerprint scanner and the recent restart problem. If I were a die-hard Samsung fan, I wouldn't point out those problems. So you can have faith on me that I will give you true details on it.

Now please tell me these:
1. How fast-charging stands here? Is it a gimmick? Do we need it?
2. Why do we need a bluetooth v 4.2 if we can't share a file? Just to connect to a headset?
3. Why do we don't need a headphone jack, can you please explain again?
4. The best stylus is our finger and the best size is 3.5" as it reaches every corner, right? So, why does iPhones have bigger screens now?
5. A human eye can only measure 300 PPI, right? Please explain. Then why there are 64K color variants?
6. Why do you think everything is a gimmick until and unless iPhones have it?
No, seriously. I am stupid, very stupid. But I want to become an iD-iOt. So please, enlighten me. I will be waiting for your reply on those very subjects, point by point. If you can't reply, well I don't believe you can, next time, please shut your mouth and tell Apple to take back their money that they gave you as you have failed to put Androids down. If you can't prove me wrong in at least five points, put your mouth shut, please, as you have lost the truth and dare.
Android lover (iOS disliker, but iD-iOts hater)
